About

I had had a very bad experience the first time I tried to take a lesson from a different teacher and was very discouraged. being in my late 20's I was nervous to begin taking on piano lessons. But after my first lesson with Sophia I found how much she enjoys music as well as I. Now, months later, I am still taking lessons and couldnt be more happy. She challenges you at the same time builds confidence and skills. Lucky to have found her!

Doug is the most talented well-versed musician I know. Thirteen years ago I hired Doug to teach piano lessons to my 3 sons. After several years of lessons, they went off to college and soon learned music was the way a girl's heart! Even after graduating from college they continued playing the piano and now they're playing popular and classical music all the time! I owe all that to Doug as he was the inspiration that motivated my sons to learn, to keep practicing, and to challenge themselves. I'm thankful for Doug - his experience, knowledge, and his always positive upbeat demeanor that helped shape my sons into the musicians they are today. Oh, and by the way, now that my sons are grown and out on there own, I'm spending my free time taking lessons from Doug!!

About

We selected Richard to teach piano to our teenage son, Mason. He has done an amazing job. Mason could already read music since he's in choir, but he had never played an instrument. In just a few months, Mason is playing with both hands and is learning to improvise. Richard teaches him theory and the basics of different styles like rock, jazz and classical. Mason's favorite thing about his lessons is that Richard makes them interesting. I had my doubts that Mason would stick with piano. I think he is successful because of Richard's style and personality.

My daughter began taking piano lessons from Dallas Music Academy 2 years ago when she was 6 1/2 years old. Her ability to read music, play the piano, and understand the theory part since beginning the lessons are incredible. Her teachers, Dr. Tolosa and Raquel Rigotti, are extremely talented and gifted teachers who show patience and encouragement to their students. They have high expectations of their students which is a great advantage. We are very pleased with our daughter's progress and look forward to her future musical accomplishments as a result of her ongoing training at Dallas Music Academy.

About

I took piano lessons 25 years ago when the goal was simply to play the note as written. I learned no music theory whatsoever. As a result I knew very little about music and never became a pianist. Glenna’s approach to teaching music has filled in the gaps. With an emphasis on theory, composition, sight reading, and improvisation I have learned more about music in the past 15 months with Glenna than in all the time I spent at the piano 25 years ago. She is very knowledgeable, intuitive, and fun! She tailors the lesson to fit the needs of each student and knows how to fix any problems the student may be having. There is never any pressure or feeling of failure with her. Every lesson is a rich, exciting experience in itself. I had almost given up my lifelong dream of playing; now there is no end to the excitement.

About

My child 8 years old has been attending Ms.Maria's studio for almost 2 years. She really enjoys her class. Ms. Maria has effective teaching method for students that incorporate musicianship, theory, creativity and skill. Last year 2014 my child got many rewards for piano competition and theory test. I am very glad to have Ms.Maria teaching piano for my daughter. I think she is the best piano teacher ever!

Rachel has shown infinite patience with my 10 year old granddaughter who wants to explore her musical talents in guitar. Rachel encourages and waits for Melina to find her way with a note or fingering or her answers. She is very proficient, definitely a step up from the guitar playing band member Melina was taking from before. Rachel looks for excellence and is patient while Melina gets there and makes it fun along the way. Most importantly my granddaughter loves Rachel and going to her guitar lessons.

My daughter has been taking lessons for over 5 years from Ms. Marie, and it has been a delight to watch her grow both in her in piano playing skills as well as her confidence. Ms. Marie's style of teaching is the perfect balance of structure and flexibility. I love how she has taught the core concepts, allowed for stylistic changes when her students needed to switch gears, and even encouraged the kids to use their knowledge to compose their own music. What I love most is that my daughter is still excited to go to lessons each week.

Mrs. Natusko is a fantasitic piano teacher! Her multitude of experiences from playing the piano and guitar in multiple orchestras, philharmonics, etc. are extremely evident in her teachings. Whether it be in practicing responsibility and discipline, concert etiquette, piano technicals, music theory, etc. She knows very well how to deliver these concepts in the most efficent, quick, and effective methods! To this day, I do not have anything to regret in my desicion to attend her piano lessons.
