Started with Melissa at the beginning of December. I have enjoyed her Pilates, Extreme Training, and yoga classes. She has a great energy about her and is very patient and let's you go at your own pace. I've had great results!

Yoga I love Atali yoga teaching classes. She is my favorite teacher and the best thus far in my 30+ years of practice Her flow is very well balanced and her directions are Precise and concise. You can flow with your eyes closed and listen to her harmonious voice. She instills a sense of peace during the flow which makes you feel refreshed. Her flow is chalenging but She offers modifications and she is hands on if you wish to be corrected . She demonstrates the poses as well. Namaste
She was on time and so nice! The girls had a blast! Professional and child friendly! My newly turned 5 year old decided to join in with the girls and she went with the flow. Very easy to work with. Ninety minute massage, extremely nice and beneficial. Amy has very strong hands and is very tuned into the challenge areas. The table was heated, perfectly clean and comfortable. She creates a relaxing environment and is empathetic to your needs and concerns for treatment.

Carla taught the first yoga class I attended, and I'm so thankful it worked out that way. She is the reason I fell in love with yoga a little more than year ago. Her teaching style is fantastic. She walks you through the basics so you set a proper foundation. This keeps you from hurting yourself and helps you get the most out of every pose. Other teachers will flow from one position to the next so quickly that I feel like I'm rushing to keep up and I'm not getting the full benefit of each pose. What I also love is how open Carla makes class. If I didn't understand an instruction (a rare occurrence), I'm comfortable speaking up and asking her to clarify. This is particularly helpful when, for whatever reason, a pose hurts. Even though I know I should speak up when I feel pain, I've been in other classes where I feel like I'll disrupt things if I say something. No classes with Carla are alike, which staves off boredom, and her approach makes yoga fun, even though sometimes you're asking her through clenched teeth when you're coming out of a pose. :) Carla is friendly, welcoming and wants to share her love for yoga with you. She celebrates your successes and then always has another pose in her pocket so you have a new goal. Carla also creates a judgement-free zone, so you feel comfortable with her and also so you're not so hard on yourself. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any new and experienced yogis.
Iâve been taking group yoga classes for over 10 years and have been taught by Jamie for the last 3-4 years. Iâve taken a variety of classes taught by Jamie including: gentle, restorative, Hatha flow, and Yoga Nidra. Jamie is always attentive and patient with everyone in class and offers modifications so anyone can do the poses. Jamie has a great understanding of yoga and its effect on the mind and body. Jamie has taught me several varieties of breath work that Iâve never tried before. I always feel great after attending a class taught by Jamie, I especially enjoy her L-U-V series of poses. I took an 1hr 15 minute Vinyasa class with Aubrey and absolutely loved it! I've practiced yoga for a few years now and really appreciated the way Aubrey taught her class. Her sequencing was creative and well thought out, but she managed to incorporate an underlying message aside from your normal sequencing of postures. Aubrey teaches with an understanding for students who are both beginner and experienced and includes modifications and foundational cues that are easy to follow. The class was challenging both physically and mentally and I would recommend her class to anyone, especially those interested in mediation.
Jami has impressed me since I have been going to Yoga Jax studio for the last couple of months. She has led me in both flow yoga and meditation in hour long private and group classes. She is personal - not just leading, but pulling the best out of me. She leads by both verbal instructions and doing the poses along side me. I never feel pandered to or looked down upon. Actually, quite the opposite - I feel like I don't need to be "better" before I go to her classes - I can just come as I am with no judgment from her. She is focused on we students the whole time class is in session. (Doesn't seem like her mind is wandering away from us.) Last but not least, I like her smile and love her passion. In an age of chain stores, It is good to experience good-old-fashioned customer service given by someone who clearly has a passion for her profession.

Though my focus is making the practice accessible to all ages and body types, I also like to play and have fun with arm balances and inversions!
