Gerardo and his team saved the day! Our AC broke down over Labor Day weekend and he responded on the holiday and came out to look at our system first thing Tuesday morning. Gerardo made sure we understood all our options in terms of time, quality, and cost, never trying to upsell us or make us spend more than we were comfortable with. We ended up replacing the whole HVAC system which his team did quickly and got us back on our feet. I know we’re in good hands with True Comfort for all our future needs.

I was very unhappy with the service.  The pro put freon in my air conditioner. The pro came to my house within 30 minutes (thanks) .  He told me there would be no service charge.  He knew that this would not work.  It cost me $99 for 4 pounds of freon or coolant.  Then he told my husband it it did seem like the freon was going in like it should.  Then why didn't he stop, if it was not going in like it should.  He told us if we decided upon a new AC that cost would go into a new system for the air conditioning unit.  This is called bait and switch.  I found HVAC HEROES DTX on Next Door.  I was totally ripped off.  The quote they gave me to fix my AC unit only was more than what I paid to get a new TRANE 4 ton unit installed with both new AC and heating.  They use Thumbnail to get the Pro over at your place.  He knows this will not solve the problem.  That's what this pro does.  HVAC HEROES DTX has a very high ranking on Next Door.  You are already into it for $400.  The quote that they keep sending me after my $400 freon job which they knew did not work is $6,788.  How do they know it would not work?  They know because they have set you up.  You already spent the $400 dollars, so now if you get a new AC unit it will only cost you $6,788 minus the $400 you spent for something they knew would not work.  That quote is for new 4 ton evap coil and 14 seer condenser, seal system, drain pan and floatswitch.  The original date they came was June 12.  I had everything replaced on June 13.  The whole works for $6,300 for 4 ton TRANE unit.  The heating unit, condenser, thermostat, everything.  HVAC HEROES keep sending me quotes for something they told me could work.  How do they know it did not work?  They probably have guys in the field just waiting for someone like me to take advantage of.  People BEWARE!
