Introduction
Now is your chance to get fit, regardless of your sex or age. Allow us to help you in gaining coordination, strength, endurance, increase muscle tone, relieve stress, cardiovascular strength, and establish confidence.
Boxing Training:
* stretching - increases flexibility, while reducing the risk of an injury
* proper stance - promotes good balance and maximum power when using proper techniques
* hand techniques and footwork - work hand in hand increasing coordination, proper instruction of striking to reduce risk of injury, and maximize power
* endurance training - running, jump rope, shadow boxing, miscellaneous drills to optimize workout
* heavy bag work - builds lean muscle and increases cardiovascular health
* speed bag - increases coordination
* mit/pad drills - increases hand and eye coordination and cardiovascular health
* sparring - utilizes the techniques learned in a controlled environment using light contact. This is at the instructors' discretion.
* push-ups - focus on upper body strength, focusing on the biceps, triceps and core
* crunches - focus on core development, an important key to good balance
* free weights - using lighter weights with more repetitions to build strength, without slowing your striking ability
