FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a fixed price! I don't want to make the pricing difficult at all. No fees whats so ever. From my experience, our classes lasted a little over one hour to an hour and a half! If you feel comfortable playing more than that, just let me know!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1.) For our first session, I understand that meeting new people can be new and different. I want to make sure the person is comfortable first! I am very friendly and engaging to make sure we can loosen our jitters! I like to ask question about the person's music preferences and other basic things that will help us understand each other. 2.) Once we start getting into the lesson, depending on how comfortable they are, I start them off with showing how you can make different sounds with being in just one, or two, positional chords! That way it shows them how easy it is to make music without it feeling complicated or stressful! 3.) After our session is over, I will usually write down (Tabs) what we did for that session for the person to go over what we learned at their leisure! I promise its not homework! (Ha)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have to say that I teach in an unconventional way. I never learned music theory, instead I self taught myself. I do know and can teach you how to play from guitar tabs! If there is a song that you want to learn, show me! I can learn it and teach you how to play it! I began learning in middle school, and stuck to it ever since!
