It was very hard for me to find someone who would complete a small job without charging me for multiple hours. He arrived on time with tools in hand ready to hang my large mirror. In less than an hour I had a perfectly hung mirror for an incredible price. I can't say enough how glad there is someone on this site who will do true "handyman" work without trying pad the price. This service was much appreciated and I recommend him for anyone who needs quality service at a reasonable price.

Darren has done two jobs for me now 1 hanging curtain rods and a mirror and the second mounting a tv he has done an amazing job each time, he is proficient, does his work in a timely manner and communicates very well. I’ll be having him back for more work in the near future.

Darren came to assemble some patio furniture. He was very professional and asked detailed questions about the set up. As soon as we discussed details he got to work. He finished the project quickly and I am quite satisfied with his craftsmanship. I highly recommended Darren.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally give you a much better bang for your buck on my materials especially TV mounts.
I charge $20 per hour on what I know it should take me
If I tell a client a job will take me two hours and it actually takes me THREE
The client only pays for two hours, which is also why I generally like to overestimate and give you the actual time it took
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I'll bring down all my tools and shake your hand and get an exact picture of what you want to see in your home after I leave. I am very honest about what I can and can't do for you. I usually prefer to work in private so you can continue throughout your day without contractor-sitting. I'll usually ask for you to come double check something before I put holes in the wall or anything like that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my High School Diploma, a year's worth of experience in remodeling, two years A/V and general contracting. I am currently going to school at Altierus Career College for my Electrical Apprentice Technician certificate
