Health, weight-loss, and nutrition coaching are offered virtually and locally and available to groups, families, organizations, small businesses and their employees as well as individuals. The group or individual weight loss program provides motivation and encouragement, weekly monitoring and re-evaluations including adjustments based on progress, and suggestions to make your experience as effective and enjoyable as possible. This is a 90-day, 3-phase program. We start by addressing personal goals and map strategies for obtaining them. This program was designed with everyday foods, and does not require the purchase of food replacement meals or supplements. You will receive access to our virtual meal-planning program that assesses and guides your food choices, as well as weekly in person or Skype consults with a nutritionist. Assisted exercise instruction is provided by a certified personal trainer or self-work-out written plans can be incorporated. Wellness programs provide instruction on various health, fitness and nutrition topics. You will learn lifestyle changes for incorporating healthy food choices and exercise. Various nutrition topics are discussed including why some healthy food choices can cause weight gain, and what certain food claims such as whole wheat vs. whole grain really means. We will also discuss the importance of fitness, not only for weight loss, but for optimal health both physically and mentally.
