Long Distance Moving

Wow! I’m always a little hesitant about Thumbtack. This was a long distance move, and I’ve never done a long distance move before. I did not know what to expect. They came EARLY which was ok with me. They wrapped everything and handled everything with care as if it was there own. I will definitely use them again. They were amazing!

Long Distance Moving

I highly recommend A-Star Movers if you’re looking for a cost efficient long distance move. We moved from Houston to Denver and A-Star exceeded our expectations with delivering our furniture the next day after packing us up. They were in and out and our items were delivered without any issues or damages. We had two drop offs, one to our storage and one to our apartment. A-Star was more than happy to deliver our items where we needed without any complaints. Thank you A-Star!

Long Distance Moving

I recently did a long distance move (Houston to New York) and decided to go with A-Star based on their positive reviews and they really came over and above my expectations. I have done similar long distance moves twice and have used the “big companies” and have always had major issues from damage to my belongings to extensive delays and unexpected billings. With A-Star the experience was superb from Day-1. Carlos came to my home to give me an estimate and stood by it until everything was delivered in NY. I also had to change my plan slightly because i was unable to get occupancy of my house in NY on time so I held my stuff in Houston for about 2 weeks. They were able to accommodate. They loaded/unloaded my stuff both in storage and final destination with care. Nothing was broken not even a lamp. Nothing was lost. No intermediate storages in warehouses like other big companies. The best thing i liked about Carlos was his responsiveness. Every time i texted him for something, he read it immediately and replied instantly. They were right on time for pickup and drop date was spot on. I would recommend these guys to anyone who is moving from Texas to anywhere in the country. 5-Stars!

    We usually our prices never change .

    The typical work is that almost all the customers ask the same questions and so we start by answering questions , then we give them the price. I think we have a very reasonable prices..

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    We have over 20 years experience. So it would be very hard for others to match our experience.. and in here . We’re all family so you don’t have to worry about anything..
