Each session may leave you drained and sweating, but you'll wake up each day feeling and seeing results you probably thought would take years to accomplish. I worked with Ron for about 6 months straight after coming in where I was in decent shape but had a gut. My goal was to basically, get "6 pack abs" to impress some girl whose name I can't even remember now. As I began training with Ron, his philosophy of fitness and health rubbed off on me and really made me forget all about those goals and instead focus on building strength that lasted far beyond just aesthetics. I'll be honest, during my time training however, I actually gained 10 pounds... of muscle! I was surprised that I began gaining weight but as we monitored my vitals, BMI, and fat %, we noticed that my fat % had plummeted from around 18% to a startling 11% and my overall BMI had increased. That meant I had lost water and fat weight and regained it (and more) in pure muscle. I was ecstatic and each person who saw me during the training period could see my elevated mood levels as well as an overall increase in physical appearance. I mean, like it or not, I ended up becoming a far better looking specimen of a man haha. In fact, that's what attracted my current girlfriend. The main reason I stopped going was simply because I didn't have as much time to train as I did when I started. When we parted ways, Ron and I had become fast friends and even now, I still hear from him occasionally. For anyone questioning whether or not he knows what he is doing, trust him. He's the best trainer in Houston and has pushed not just me but many people to crazy levels of performance. He's got a great personality and even if something is bothering you, you can confide in him and he'll give you a story about his life that somehow helps in some weird way. Highly recommended, can't wait for the opportunity to possibly train with him again in the future!

As a physician, a mom and a wife I have a fairly busy schedule so finding time to work out has always been an issue. I tried Thumbtack to find a trainer that not only had a flexible schedule but was also willing to work with me on my specific needs. Luckily, I met Ron and have to say that his knowledge and professionalism impressed me right from the start. I approached Ron with pretty severe back pain and knew I might not do as much as most people, but he showed great patience and a confidence that told me I was in good hands. Ron worked with me developing a plan that moved at my pace. What surprised me most is how his methods and techniques have not only increased my overall strength, but also have considerably helped improve my back pain - in a far shorter time than I expected. He's a great trainer who listens and responds to my needs, all the while still pushing me forward. I highly recommend Ron for anyone who really wants to work out with a personal trainer that cares about his clients and gets them results!
