- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I teach 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons. A 30 minute lesson costs $45, a 45 minute lesson costs $55, and a 60 minute lesson costs $65. I offer a discount of 10% off the total price of a purchase of 4 lessons. For example, the total cost of 4 60 minute lessons, at the discounted price would be $234. I do request that these 4 lessons be used by the end of 6 weeks after purchase.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At our first lesson I will ask the student what his/her goals are and why they want to take singing lessons. I will evaluate the students technical abilities in breath control, and tone production. Usually the first lesson consists of technique exercises, and in the following lessons we will apply these techniques to some songs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Houston. As part of my degree I took vocal pedagogy classes that taught the technical aspect of singing as well as how to teach.
