This may have been my best experience with a contractor on Thumbtack. Paul was outstanding, he called me back almost immediately, gave me a time that same day and was on time. He not only gave a fair price but really educated me on my sprinklersystem, what needed to be done, and what needed to be done going forward to ensure I never had the problem again. His communication and engagement was awesome. After he got into the repair, he found an issue that was unforeseen which he hadn't provided a price for. Though fair to increase the price, he refused to go up on the price even when nudged. I have used a few sprinklerrepair companies, but have found who I will use going forward as he is a good guy who can be trusted and counted on, and he is fair on price, and makes sure he take you on the ride by talking you through everything. I am a little smarter now because of Sprinkler Guru, and will only be using them going forward for my home as well as my rental properties.

I highly recommend Sprinkler Guru, especially Paul! I received estimates from several other companies, and their quotes were nearly four times higher than Sprinkler Guru’s estimate. The reason for the difference was that the other companies included equipment replacements that were not actually needed for my repair.
I was pleasantly surprised by Paul’s professionalism, communication, and overall quality of service. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy and stress-free.
Hands down, Paul is the guy to call for sprinklerrepairs! Great service at a very reasonable price. I would definitely use Sprinkler Guru again!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The Sprinkler Guru is veteran-owned and locally operated. I pride myself on providing honest pricing, quality work, and clear communication every step of the way.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is simple and straightforward: First, I contact the customer to learn about the issue and schedule a convenient time for an on-site visit. When I arrive, I’ll inspect the system, identify the problem, and provide a clear, written estimate before any work begins. If the customer approves, I usually complete the repair on the spot. I always explain what was fixed and offer tips to keep the system running efficiently. Communication, honesty, and respect for the customer’s time are my priorities from start to finish.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a licensed irrigatior in Texas, trained in diagnosing and repairing residential and commercial sprinkler systems. I also completed hands-on training with experienced professionals and stay updated on local codes, water conservation practices, and the latest smart irrigation technologies.
I currently hold a Texas irrigator License, license number 0030454
