As an adult who is starting as a beginner, I was nervous about violin lessons. However, Florence is a wonderful instructor who not only has a wealth of knowledge and experience, but is also kind and patient. I'm very happy with the lessons and look forward to continue learning. I would highly recommend her.
Our 14 year old daughter has been taking piano lessons for almost 7 years. She was burning out and thought she wanted to quit playing until we found Miriam. Miriam has made it fun again, letting her play some pop music along with the classical pieces. Most importantly, she is learning how to play what she hears, and transpose in her head, instead of just reading the notes off the page. She is still getting solid theory, but now she plays music that she and her friends like to sing. She is also now taking voice lessons from Sarah, and because of scheduling issues had to switch piano teachers from Miriam to Kara. All of Miriam's teachers are excellent and teach with fun in mind!
My daughter is enjoying her violin lessons so very much. We are so thankful to have found a good teacher who is located near us and whom we never would have found apart from Reverb's help!
Violin and Piano lessons by the Mazzamuto brothers are beyond our expectations. Mrs. Rojas worked to get my schedule to my requirements. Very happy.
Although I have received only one violin lesson thus far, I am very pleased with this company. Sherri does a great job!!
He's a great teacher with great learning skills. I improved so much with teaching with him and I would recommend him for anyone trying to improve or learn the violin and viola
Stage Volume Entertainment was perfect for our 7 year old son. He loved his private lesson. Tim was extremely professional, responded quickly to my emails, and works well with children.
Ms. Barbara is a wonderful teacher! My daughter has been taking lessons with her for about a month and a half, and has already learned much more than she did in seven months at a music school. We love the fact that Ms. Barbara is very well organized with her lessons and assignments, and takes the time to know each of her students individuality. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for private lessons for their child.
Jacqueline has been an amazing teacher so far! I used to play violin for 7 years and haven't touched it in over 10. She was very encouraging and pushed me to play pieces I would otherwise be too scared to play. She's always very positive and shows me different techniques to help with intonation and bow strokes. I look forward to our lesson each week!
I have obtained Mrs. Boyd's services for violin lessons for my daughter. She is very professional and extremely knowledgeable in the instrument. My daughter looks forward to her weekly lesson with her. If you are looking for a patient, warm and inviting instructor that gives her all to her students and encourages them in persuing their love of music, look no further because you have found her! I totally reccomend Catherine Boyd! :-)
My daughter Mary is fifteen years old, she has played the violin for nine years. Ms. Aleksi has been her teacher for the past three years. Mary has improved immensely since she started working with Ms. Aleksi. Her improvement is evident in her technique, tone and overall musicianship. Since Mary has been working with Ms. Aleksi she has made The National Honors Junior Orchestra, All Region, Area and she made a gold at State UIL Solo contest. Mary is also in the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra. Ms. Aleksi works with Mary on all her music and auditions. Mary is so blessed to have Ms. Aleksi as her violin teacher.
Janetta is very encouraging and observant of the way the student listens and learns, she corrects the student in a easy and practical fashion for the kid to understand. I recommend Janetta for Violin lessons.
My daughter took piano and violin lessons for a couple of years from Christina when she lived in the Chicago suburban area. She is very talented, patient, great communication skills, offers positive encouragement and loves music very much. I cant imagine any type of music student that would not thrive under her instruction; she is a very gifted teacher/musician!
We had a couple violin lessons with Miss Mercedes while our regular teacher was on vacation. She was patient and cheerful. She showed good knowledge of the piece my son was working on in Suzuki violin book 2. She had helpful suggestions for improvement. I would definitely recommend her!
We knew about Mr. Rigo through one of my son's friends who takes violin lessons with him. One time this boy played the violin beautifully at one of my son's school music programs. I could not believe how well a five year-old could play the violin. My son had started to show an interest in violin, so we talked to Mr. Rigo about it. He was very personable and professional when I talked with him on the phone. I had several questions and he answered them thoroughly. Then, he invited us to visit his studio and watch him teach. After we saw Mr. Rigo teach and visited with him, my husband and I realized that he was the perfect fit to teach our son. Mr. Rigo is a great teacher with my son and explains to me how to practice every difficult spot in the violin pieces. I have been amazed at how my son longs to play his violin now. He's been learning faster than I thought he would learn. Mr. Rigo has a way of making every lesson fun and memorable. He is very enjoyable, fun-loving and he's as accessible and friendly as anyone can be. He is very professional and always communicates very well with us about all the things happening in his studio. We are very happy with him and would recommend him to anyone.
Ms. Wen is an amazing violin instructor. She has studied violin and piano since 5 years to age and it shows through her knowledge and practice of the arts. My son and daughter love working with her and always look forward to her lessons. I make sure my kids practice at least 30 minutes every day to apply what they learned in their music and build a solid foundation. Wen is very responsive and will be flexible with my schedule if my kids have something come up. Recommend 5/5
At Coppell Conservatory, we value excellence in music education for all students. We provide performance opportunities throughout the year to increase our students exposure to the arts and classical music. Sharing my love of music with new students is the most rewarding part of teaching music.
I am an experienced violinist who has been playing for over 13 years and i am looking to share my knowledge with violin students.I teach mostly classical violin, but i can also teach pop, country, jazz, etc. I charge $12 for 30 minutes, but I don't only teach for the money, i teach to spread the joy and excitement of music. I enjoy not only helping to student to learn, but learning from them myself. I believe that making music is one of the most exhilarating things a person can do, and sharing that feeling is my calling.
Theresa primarily works with students of all ages and backgrounds. This includes adults and professionals who are interested in either learning or honing their musical skills for personal or professional reasons. Students have included doctors, attorneys, IT professionals and retirees as well as high school students bound for college and wish to perfect their audition skills. All level of skills from beginners to advanced students are welcome. Curriculum is based on the needs of the student. Each one is reviewed for their approach and desired direction.
I have been playing the violin for 6 years now and continue to play in my school's orchestra and take violin lessons myself to better my playing. I received ones for my violin solo last year and the year before that. Lastly, I love to teach children and help them with basic skills/techniques and class music to better their playing and love of music.
During my over 15 years of teaching violin, I worked in a variety of class settings (public and private school as well as in private off-site lessons), using different teaching styles with a wide range of student levels (beginners to undegraduates) and ages (three to adult).
