FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
like all inspectors, my pricing is based on multiple factors like square footage, crawl space vs slab foundation, do you have a pool, sprinklers, out building or detached garage, etc. We are a small local business, not a multi inspector firm or a national franchise so my prices are fair and not bloated to support a large organization.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Because of the nature of my business nearly all my customers are new customers. However, I make it a point to make the Home Inspection the easiest part of buying or selling a house. I don't speak in industry lingo that you won't understand, I explain my routine and the process which is relatively short. Most jobs are next day unless otherwise specified and sometimes in a pinch I've been able to pull off same day. I have nothing less than a 5 star review on any platform because my job is not complete until you're happy and comfortable that my service and report were top notch and 100% factual.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Aside from my many years of experience in the real estate and construction industry, I'm formerly educated by both American Home Inspector Training (AHIT) and International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) for which I have the designation of Certified Professional Inspector (CPI). A CPI has passed the grueling national inspector NACHI exam in addition to the NHIE National and State of Texas exams required by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). I've also worked side by side with multiple 20+ year veteran inspectors.
