What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First and formost only hire a CERTIFIED personal trainer.
Ask to see their certificate.
Ask if they have insurance.
Ask if you can do 1-3 sessions to see if they are a good fit for you. If they only want to sell packages of 20-30 sessions move on to someone new.
Look for a trainer who has skills that extend beyond walking around with a clipboard.
Never hire a trainer that you observe taking calls or texting while working with clients - unprofessional!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Are you licensed?
Do you have insurance?
What is your experience?
How long have you been a personal trainer?
Tell me a little bit about your past and current clients.
