FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The quotes that I give to customers do follow a standard pricing system with a few gives and takes and are negotiable. I also give free consultations before hire. Pricing depends on project details such as does the project ask for an original design (logo), is the project just text, is the project an invitation or booklet with artwork. My quote prices are reasonable and competitive. If customers question my prices and wonder why so high or so low, I want them to understand that does not reflect the quality of my work. My dedication to every single project is %100.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listening to what the customer wants is far and foremost the most important. Hearing the ideas they have while also being respectful and describing the graphic knowledge I have. I like to do two or three designs, depending on the project size, to show to the customer. Giving them options. A sketch is drawn or printed out as well as a rough draft sent to the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While attending graphic design school I learned more than just drawing and software programs. Color theory plays an important part of a designers projects. What I mean is that as a designer you pay me to know what colors would work best for the project you would like. Another really import part is typography - the art and technique of arranging type to make written language legible, readable, and appealing when displayed. Knowledge and understanding business branding, design history, design concepts and attention to detail. There are so many design aspects that a designer learns to acquire a degree in design and that is what sets us apart from self taught designers.
