Tim stopped by within a few hours of first contacting me. Fixed my DIY job (installation of interior French doors), showed me how to do it right the next time, cleaned up the area, and we were both back to work on other things. Thanks alot, Tim! Great job!
Electrical rewiring of the garage motion sensor lighting, electrical rewiring of the attic cooling fan, install of the blinds, repairs of shutters and wall baseboard ... Great and clean job. Overall, works well done!!
Mario was amazing!! He was prompt and so polite. His work was impeccable and he was super clean. We will surely use Mario for more work around our house. Mario even went above and beyond by not only painting the walls but also all of the trim. After completing the work, Mario spent time cleaning the site and ensuring that everything had been returned to the proper location. I didn’t purchase enough paint so Mario was kind enough to go back to the paint store to get more. He brought the receipt and didn’t charge a dime more for the paint then it originally cost to purchase.
Manuel and his team did such an amazing job on my daughters nursery ceiling and walls! The walls and ceiling are absolutely perfect, and as an interior designer by trade, I have high standards. My husband and I are hoping to build a home this fall and plan to contact Manuel again for all the drywall in the new house. Not only is the finished quality top notch, but they also took precautions to make sure the room was taped off to reduce dust from getting all over the rest of the house. Highly recommend.
Whole house interior painting including popcorn ceiling removal as well as painting kitchen cabinets. Good and efficient crew with reasonable pricing. Ms. Ross, the owner has design background and excellent advice on what works well in color selections. Very good attention to detail. In addition to painting, she produced a very competitive bid for tiling ~740 sq feet 12x24 of floor tiles. The tiling crew she provided installed the tile first with good preparation then installed tiles with very fine grout lines as requested. Overall, very impressed and would hire again for future work.
He tore out my fireplace and sheet rocked and textured the new wall, he replaced my small porch poles with larger ones and found and repaired a leak on my roof. I would highly recommend Vic Searcy of Searcy Construction to anyone. His bid was very reasonable. He is a crew of 1 but works like 10 men. He does beautiful work and will come back and make it right if you are not happy. I say this because after he was done and paid out we primed the new wall and the seams seemed to pop out after we primed. This was not due to him making a mistake - it really could not be seen with the texture on the wall until the wall was primed. I texted him and told him about what happened and came out the next day to look at it and he repaired it within 2 days. This contractor does not leave you even after you have paid in full - HE WILL MAKE IT RIGHT! I understand the fear you may have about hiring a contractor but with Searcy Contruction your fears are unwarranted. I would hire again. In fact I would not seek any additional bids. He is trustworthy and will do a great job for you.
Rene and his crew did a great job for us. Had exterior leaks in a couple places and needed to patch/repaint water damage to interior walls. He identified the issues, made repairs, treated for mold and fixed up the walls. Friendly, courteous and responsive.
The have painted the interior and exterior of my house. They have also taped, floated and painted my garage. I have been very satisfied with their professionalism and their quality of work. I have used them twice for projects at my home.
Our stained cabinets and interior painting look great!!
I needed to have 16 linear ft of interior wall removed to open up the house. Additionally, there would be new drywall and repair requirements, flooring, and paint to finish the project. Jim was not the cheapest of the 3 quotes that were offered, but, as an experienced home builder for 30+ years, he impressed, was methodical and scientific in his project approach, is insured, and the pictures of the work that was completed in his portfolio were great. The project did have scope creep, and the cost adjustments were transparent and fair. The project came out to my satisfaction. Professional, meticulous, OCD (it’s great for a contractor), polite, and trustworthy; both individually and in his resourcing and supervision of subcontractors for the areas not under his direct scope (floor and paint). I would also like to add, that during this project, I unfortunately broke my tibia, being immobilized till now. Jim was courteous, ensured area safety, cleanliness, and even when I needed personal aid (an occasional run to the fast food joint) he did it. He cares about his work and his clients.
Mario is AMAZING!! I hired him and his employees to tile my bathroom floor to ceiling. As is often the case with a remodel, when walls were exposed, the design had to change. Mario rolled with it and helped in every way he could. Whether it was ordering and picking up tile, unexpected electrical work, changes in design, or just to check in, Mario's communication is off the charts. I always knew what was going on, what was changing, and it was always so clear that my satisfaction was his top priority. When the job was finished to my satisfaction, there was one small section of textured wall that Mario wasn't happy with, so he stopped by (himself) before work to make sure it was right. This is a great company and they will be my first call the next time I need similar services.
Hosea Guerrero has done a Wonderful job on My Home Repairs. He has painted My Walls, emptied My attic out, removed and hung Our Pictures thru a move, put furniture together and lots of other odd jobs. He did a Great Job on Everything for Us. He arrives on time, courteous, and takes pride in His Work. Thank You Hosea
We hired Henson Home Solutions, LLC to do an extensive remodel of our home including new windows and trim, painting the entire interior, changing square room openings to beautiful archways, replacing all interior doors, adding ceiling lights to our dark living room and kitchen, installing beautiful barn doors between two bedrooms, and a total redo of our small outdated bathroom to make it look exactly like a picture I had fallen in love with. That included a beautiful tiled walk in shower that we just love. Henson Home Solutions is a great company to work with and we couldn't be happier with their work or give them a higher recommendation.
I hired them to paint first floor interior. Not only did they move all furniture and all wall coverings but they moved most of it bask as well! Job was done very well and they priced fairly. Touch ups were done immediately and they started when they agreed to start. My only critique is that they were a bit sloppy not with painting just in general (I think they will work on that) but I would recommend them. Hard workers for sure.
Superior work done in a flash. Joe and his crew were professional and on time. They repaired and painted some superficial cracks in three rooms of my home. They have scaffolding and can match the paint for your interior.
Painting of interior of 3500sf home. Figure 3 did exceptional job. They were extremely diligent in preparation and the end result was superb. They were on time, on budget and on specifications.
Sergio did a great job on the remodel of our guest bath. He was prompt in responding, a good communicator and very professional. Also quite reasonable in his price. He did a skim coat to even out the walls where the wallpaper was removed, applied texture, painted, built frames around the large mirrors, installed lighting and new fixtures. We are very pleased and would hire him again without hesitation.
I had hired Chris for my basement remodel. I'm located in Portland but I was told, Chris was here visiting family and had some extra time to complete a project while he was here. I've never used Thumbtack before but the quotes I was getting from local companies were just way too high to consider. Chris responded on the first day and helped walk me through the extensive amount of work needed that I was completely unaware of. His knowledge of the project and what was needed, seemed like he had experience and was able to walk me through it in a way I could understand. He was able to offer much better pricing than others because I had a very lean budget to work with. Chris did his very best to work with me even though I must have been a nightmare to work with, but Chris's was a champ. He built interior walls on a sloping floor, created a beautiful reclaimed wood wall and used the left over to build out a cedar closet for guest use. The bulk of the project was soundproofing my ceiling wit Rozul insulation and over 500 square feet of ceiling drywall and texture. It was a 2-week project from start to finish, a little longer than I had hoped, but I was happy with Chris because he was doing it all himself. I just wish he lived in Portland. I would hire him all the time. Super Impressive!
I’m very satisfied with the job he performed renovating my kitchen. Backsplash, floor, wall tile, laminate floor. Excellent job and service.
Our projects with Bart and his company, Renovation Systems, started in 2004 when we wanted to replace the shed roof over the back porch. Bart designed and built a beautiful gable roof porch cover with lights, fan and railings. The design and construction blended perfectly with the house and we were totally pleased. Bart did an complete remodel of our home in 2007 - 2008. This year-long project included our kitchen with all new cabinets, countertops, lighting, sink, garbage disposal, water filter. Bart raised the old dropped ceiling and added new lights. The remodeling extended to all other rooms in the house and to the garage. The project involved all new exterior windows; exterior siding; interior doors, door and window framing and trim, crown molding, baseboards; new tubs and sinks; custom tiling in kitchen and baths and interior and exterior painting. The project was conducted in a professional but friendly manner and we were always comfortable with the costs, schedule and progress. We altered the scope of the project a few times during the year and found Bart accommodating and reasonable in his prices At the end of the renovation the house was beautiful and we were completely satisfied with all aspects of the work. We felt that Bart was as much a partner in the renovation as he was the contractor. In 2009 Bart built a garden shed for storage of mowers and tools. He designed and built a great looking shed with a covered porch with railings. Not only is it completely functional but the appearance mirrors the appearance of the house. In 2010 our house was flooded by Brushy Creek. After having the mud cleaned out and the wet sheet rock replaced we asked Bart to put the house back in the same beautiful condition it was in after the remodeling in 2007. Once again Bart and his team did excellent work and the house is beautiful again. We also asked Bart to enclose the back porch to create a sun room. With the addition of walls, windows, a window seat and a heating/air conditioning unit our new sun room looks terrific. The cats love to curl up on the window seat in the sun. The most recent project that Bart has done for us is to build a garden room/plant house. The garden room has windows all around and a large screened porch. Bart installed power and water so were able to include a sink, fans and lights. The design and finish of the garden room reflects the style of the house and it looks great in the yard. We trust Bart's skill and judgment in all aspects of design, construction and project management. We would not hesitate to recommend Bart and Renovation Systems for a project of any size, scope or complexity. Jim and Mary Round Rock
Dear Mr. Stinger with Elevation Home Designs, I want to thank you and everyone at Elevation Home Designs for the excellent work you did on my house remodel. This was my first remodel, EVER, and you totally exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I hired you, Mr. Stinger, I was at ease and appreciated your input and knowledge from a construction standpoint. This remodel required taking down interior walls, installing plumbing, remodeling bathrooms, putting in new doors, painting and texturing, new flooring and creating a nice fenced in area off my back porch. You were very quick to give me a bid that was within my budget, and more importantly the entire remodel was complete in under 3 months. Hiring you, Mr. Stinger, was absolutely the right decision. Each contractor that you selected to represent Elevation Home Designs, was professional and efficient. They were on time, completed each phase of the job in a timely manner, and more importantly cleaned up daily! I want to thank you, personally, Mr. Stringer, for your idea of creating a custom island in my kitchen. I am so grateful that you suggested taking down an interior wall between the den and kitchen to give me so much more space. I am also happy with the recessed lighting throughout the house. What a difference these lights make! In addition, I want to thank you for taking out all the old bathtubs and replacing them with custom built glass showers and a Jacuzzi tub! I get so many compliments on the tile and back splash as well as the updated vessel sinks. I have had many inquiries on my remodel and do not hesitate to recommend you in my community. You have truly increased the value of my home! Most importantly, I highly recommend you for the follow through and customer service when the job is complete. You are always readily available for any type of touch up I may have, regardless of how big or small the job may be. Sincerely, Terri Van Gorp
