Introduction: The years of experience that Sam has in the music industry show clearly in his impeccable quality of work. Sam and his team take pride in delivering only the highest quality songs to their clients. If you are looking for something cheap and cookie-cutter sounding, Sam is not your guy. But if you are after an intentionally-crafted work of art that cannot be replicated with over-used samples or presets, Sam is the right option. I take pride in my attention to detail, customer wants, and the overall vision that the customer has in mind. My team and I are tireless music makers and we love what we do - WE LOVE MAKING MUSIC. We are constantly updating our techniques and styles to fit industry demands. We bring a mixture of classic recording philosophies - such as getting good takes and good sounds right off the mics - and modern recording techniques to make sure your record meets industry standards. Whether you want your record to SLAM, to sound FULL, to sound ORGANIC, or to simply exceed your expectations, look no further.

I was a debuting Artist recording my first album in Sam Hunt's project studio in McKinney, Texas. The whole project from recording to mastering took about 5 months. I can not say enough about Sam's dedication to excellence. His work ethic is very professional, and he does go above and beyond. He was uncompromising in his commitment to bringing the sound and quality of the work to the highest levels. Matched with his level of skill and excellence is his enormous level of patience. He takes it one section at a time and doesn't settle until it's perfect. I was amazed at how effectively he communicated during tedious recording sessions and how his patience didnt buckle. The lasting thing I was left with from my experience was by far the Quality of the work. During my radio campaign, I heard back from several commercial Radio level music supervisors saying the quality and sound of my album is light years ahead of what they get sent. They where extremely impressed with the sound quality. Other professionals have commented on the great sound of the the vocals and also the sound of the drums was excellent. I continue to be amazed at the quality of the album! I would most definitely recommend Sam Hunt to anyone!

I've done about three albums with Sam, and countless other little things for other bands that come in the studio with him. Sam is very attentive to detail. He makes sure everything is up to a top-notch performance and sound. He has a huge heart for music and recording bands and getting a big sound for your record. He's a great engineer and I'd recommend him to anyone looking to get a quality sounding record. I will be going back with him soon enough, I can already see it.

Overall a pleasurable experience. Very organized, has a game plan, and listens to the artist more than other producers would. The quality my band received for the price is definitely worth every dime. I highly recommend him for your future projects, without a doubt.

I've had the pleasure of working with Sam Hunt on a client's album that I helped write songs for and creatively direct. He is a great producer! Not only does Sam do a great job on the technical side of things, but he also shows real maturity as a producer because he engages well on a personal level. Overall, the quality of his work is great. He takes the time to listen to the client's needs, while also providing valuable direction and input. I would definitely recommend Sam to others!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

-Let their work speak for themselves- Your music lasts forever. Whether you love how it ended up sounding, or not... Always take quality over quantity. Always ask for samples of work. Don't be "sold to" by someone - let their products speak for themselves. You have no idea how many of my current clients were "sold" into recording with someone who ended up delivering sub-par work. Whether they were sold on super cheap pricing to record out of an apartment, or were sold on "high quality gear" when the engineer had no idea what he was doing.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

"When am I looking to book?" "When is the next time I will be with my bandmates?" "Am I looking for something cheap and fast? Or intentional and high quality?"
