Interview 2-3 agents. Make sure that your agent is full-time, knowledgeable about the market, and experienced in your community. Your agent should be asking lots of questions about you, your family, your budget, your priorities - not because he/she is nosy but because she has to get to know you first to understand how to best serve your needs.
