Introduction: CranioSacral therapy is a one-stop kind of therapy that combines elements of many other modalities; it is the flagship of bodywork. It incorporates work with the fascia (connective tissue) and the structures it surrounds, fluids, energy, nerves, muscle, bone, meridians, and the body/mind connection. This is how it is able to be so powerful and versatile. Most people practicing CranioSacral Therapy have taken only one or two classes. I have been a full-time CranioSacral Therapist since 2001, having taken 24 classes all over the country and internationally, and I was extensively trained by the founder of CranioSacral Therapy, osteopath Dr. John Upledger. I am frequently referred by other therapists or licensed professionals when they have hit the limit of what they can do for a client/patient. I am a specialist and rarely cannot help a client with whatever they come for help with. I love the wide variety of people and conditions they present with, and the fact that I can nearly always help. Most of all I love it when someone has struggled with something all their lives, often having seen many other practitioners without success, and I am able to help them! Many times people come in for one problem and find many other problems resolved, especially ones that they thought were permanent, or attributed to "aging." When you restore the body's internal communication, the body is self-healing and self-regulating, and that's what a CranioSacral therapist does, through slow neurological releases.
