FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
When I'm not shooting weddings, I travel the globe producing high-end video productions for Fortune 100 corporations. I have also written, directed and photographed 4 independent feature films, all shot in Dallas with local actors. All have won awards at film festivals and my last movie, Panic Time, was recently picked up for worldwide distribution.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If I was looking for someone to shoot my own wedding, I'd want to know, in order of importance: 1. What kind of experience and what level of experience do they have? This is crucial. A true pro won't need me to fuss over them, hound them to get crucial moments, get in the way of the proceedings, etc. They will do what I pay them to do and blow me away with the finished results! 2. Do they shoot things OTHER than wedding videos? This is about their artistic sensibility. A wedding is an extremely important event. You want a video to be just as unforgettable. Often, wedding-only videographers get into a rut, or they often shoot a "template"-style wedding. I want someone who can see my event as unique...because to me, it is!
