As Southern Belle Trainer, I provide customized private personal training for women of all shapes and sizes with all sorts of goals. I aim to help you achieve your goals through many different styles of resistance training and cardio. I also provide nutritional guidance with delicious recipes sent straight to your phone. Additionally, I strongly believe that personal accountability to workouts in between sessions and eating healthy is key for success. I understand that working out in a gym can often times be both distracting and intimidating. This is why Southern Belle Training is unique. Our sessions are private while still providing state of the art equipment that brings all different levels of challenge and creativity to workouts. In this environment, clients can focus better, feel less intimidated, and not have to wait for equipment to free up. I custom tailor your workouts to your specific body type. I take great pride in strategically planning your workouts and educating you on proper techniques and the "whys". Whether you are a complete beginner or have been in the gym your whole life, I am confident that I can successfully challenge, educate and help you reach your goals. There are many things I absolutely love about personal training. Often times clients completely underestimate not only their strength but their will power to keep going, and for this reason I love showing women how strong and able they are. I get to witness physical transformations, transformations in self confidence, transformations in energy and even transformations in marriages. This is why I love doing what I do!

I was looking for a personal trainer who was knowledgeable, truly interested in helping me obtain my goals, and was someone I was compatible with. Lauren proved to be that and more. She went above and beyond to ensure that I was and am set up for success to reach my goals, and definitely knows her stuff. She keeps up with new findings and research concerning health and fitness, and is one of the most down-to-Earth and sincere people I have had the pleasure to work with! She is an excellent motivator and accountability partner, and will definitely push you to do what you never thought was possible health wise! In summary, she is awesome!

Lauren has a heart to help others and a strong desire for overall physical, spiritual, and emotional wellness. She has worked hard to get her rockin body and now she is eager to share all that she has learned and more with her clients and friends. No matter your fitness goals, she will help you reach them and encourage you along the way. I would recommend her to anyone!! Even if you're a seasoned lifter but just need to get some fresh ideas, she's your go to girl.

I remember seeing Lauren working out at our local gym every time I would go. She always had a plan and stayed extremely focused with her workout. When I wanted to work out with her and see what all she was doing, she welcomed me with open arms. She let me jump in her workouts and truly wanted to watch me succeed as well. I discovered, while working out with Lauren, that she has always had a passion for working out. She has spent countless hours researching our bodies and how they work and applies it at the gym.   • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Our first meeting consists of me getting to know you. I want to know what your goals are (strength, weight loss, flexibility, sculpting, endurance, quality of life etc...). I also want to know your biggest obstacles for working out as well as your health history. After reviewing all this information as well as your current fitness abilities I can begin to formulate where we will start and how we will make our journey to your goals through nutrition and exercise. I also offer accountability through the week to stay on track with the "map" we have planned out.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I hold a Bachelors Degree in Health Education. I also hold a Personal Trainers Certification from NASM. I am CPR/AED certified.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I have enjoyed working out and nutrition since I was in high school and so I pursued and received my degree in Health Eduction. I spent years of training people (friends and strangers who asked me) for fun on the side and so many of them urged me to take it on full time. I am so glad I listened to them, because I am having so much fun helping and educating people how improve their health, gain confidence, attain goals they never thought they could, and feeling the best they ever have! It is so fulfilling! Best of all, I get to invest in new relationships! It doesn't get any better!
