OUTSTANDING SERVICE! We had some very poor experiences with other "computer repair" services. It seemed liked they did it on the side. We found TSI computers and dropped off our computer and where impressed with their store and services. We thought we had a bad hard drive but it turned out to be a corrupted user profile. They could have charged us for more but Michael was more interested in doing what was right. A++++

Frank is an energetic and dedicated tutor who is passionate about helping his students. He takes his time with each student and really connects with them. He closely examines writing/English assignments and helps students become better writers by offering knowledge, thorough explanations, and a fresh perspective. My papers and writing assignments improved vastly after visiting with Frank. He was especially helpful when I was working on my UT application and essays and was even there when I got accepted!

I'm a fiction writer, and Jaime has helped me edit multiple drafts of stories and full-length manuscripts. She is an unparalleled editor; she has an eye for mechanical and sentence-level errors but can simultaneously give big-picture developmental advice. She's smart, meticulous, creative, and thoughtful. Some of the most insightful and encouraging feedback I've ever received has come from Jaime. She's the first person to whom I'll send my next project!

Nick Courtright is a name you should know as a tutor, consultant, editor and supporter. I have a "long poem" that needed someone to help me get my arms around it, and Nick did, by understanding and taking the big picture view. Upon completing it I have returned to Nick for guidance as to self-publishing or submitting to publishers. He is knowledgeable, to say nothing of the important attributes of being an excellent poet, articulate, scholarly. I plan to have Nick's help in assembling poems to submit for publication, for editing, selecting and market analysis. He knows more than I do, and I benefit from that. Bill

Dave Dix writes. He writes and he writes and he writes. He listens and he writes some more. When he is done you find yourself amazed at how he says the things you meant to say but clearer than you could have ever said them and more powerfully than you could imagine saying them. I used to think I was a writer until I hired Dave and he showed me what a true professional can do. I highly recommend Dave Dix he works hard and sweats value out of every pore.

MaryGrace was so kind to take on the challenge of guiding me through makeup and styling. I am transgender male to female and had never touched makeup or really done much in the way of style. MaryGrace was able to take my situation and do amazing things! While teaching me about makeup and how to apply it she would take the time to explain what each product was used for and also little extra ways you can use them, then she’d let me ask any and all questions I needed and show me how to apply it; once she showed me how to apply it she let me give it a shot and help me through the issues and further questions I had (there were a lot of questions and subsequent answers!). Once we got to style she worked with me to figure out a general idea of what I was interested in and helped me choose things based off of my body type. She explained types of clothing for the different seasons and also recommended different things she thought would compliment the things I had chosen. She was so kind and helpful, she truly helped me become the woman I am now and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for styling assistance! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

"Susan is an excellent writer, skilled communicator, and strategic thinker. I worked directly with her for fifteen years while I was general manager of a large rural Texas water supplier. She was integral to developing presentations and materials to inform and educate the public on such issues as water conservation, rate increases and legislative issues. She is conscientious and goes the extra mile."

I needed a few documents edited for an upcoming project and Sam went out of his way to understand the bigger picture. He asked me what my overall goals were and also asked about the intended audience. I was amazed by how thorough he was. He even asked for a few sample pieces from this organization to make sure that the edits would match the feel of this org. With Sam's help, I was able to learn from my mistakes and grow as a writer. If you need any editing assistance, Sam is the right guy for the job!

Mrs. Libersat and I are colleagues in education for many years. She is a resource for me and her students, who show unmistakable and significant growth, are fortunate. She is a consistent leader in her field, creative in identifying accommodations or innovations to meet the needs of her students. She served as a generous mentor for many peers using her deep and extensive knowledge of educational methods and language acquisition to assist others in their learning journey and too guide them to attain their goals for professional improvement. The students in her classes are engaged by her energy and creative approach. She practices a wide range of strategies in grouping, learning styles, cultural examination, technology integration, and student-driven activities. Her lessons show astute understanding of what is relevant to students. Her projects and activities pull in the students and the observer. Because I trust, and have witnessed her professionalism and eagerness to find ways to best connect with students and tap into their interests, I have often and will continue to consult her for resources, ideas and inspiration as an educator and stakeholder in the educational community.

Andreina saved me from a last minute fire with a multiple part series we needed on our site. We had a writer back out but she came in and saved us. She wasn’t initially familiar with the content we sell, but she was fast and eager to figure it out. Looking forward to working together again soon.

I've been using Erin to edit my novels since early 2013. I've had two previous editors who were very capable, but Erin's skills are off the chart. She is easy to work with and handles each new job quickly. She has edited four of my novels and will edit many more...as long as I write them.

How do you hire a good grant writer?

Grants are available to nonprofit organizations, for-profit businesses that qualify for government grants, and individuals who qualify for foundation or government grants. Hiring a good grant writer can help you gain funding in your chosen field. According to the American Grant Writers’ Association, grant writers can help you research potential grant opportunities; write grant proposals, create budgets, and build budget narratives; review written materials before you submit; prepare a business plan; analyze your organization for grant competitive qualities; prepare research grants; help with 501(c)(3) applications for nonprofits; and more. Investing in the right grant writer could result in a financial win for your organization. Generally no licenses or certificates are required to be a good grant writer, but you may want to find a grant writer who has been certified (not just received a certificate of completion) by a reputable organization such as the Grant Professionals Certification Institute. Qualities to look for in a good grant writer include:

      • Proven success writing winning grants, especially in your target area.
      • Strong writing skills.
      • Strong math skills and demonstrated proficiency with budgeting.
      • Careful attention to detail — brilliant grant proposals may be rejected just for formatting errors, so you want someone who follows instructions explicitly.
      • Expertise in your target area.
      • Punctuality and good communication skills.

How much does a grant writer cost?

Hiring a grant writer can give you a competitive edge when applying for financial grants for your business or nonprofit organization, or as an individual. The cost to hire a grant writer can vary depending on their academic background, areas of expertise, previous grant writing success and years of experience. According to the Grant Professionals Association, grant writers should be paid hourly or by flat fee. It is unethical for a grant writer to accept a commission or percentage compensation of grant monies received. They can, however, be awarded bonuses in line with the hiring company’s prevailing practices. Here are some examples of average grant writing fees:

      • Hourly rate for grant writers with less experience or fewer grants awarded: $25-$35 per hour.
      • Hourly rate for grant writers with some degree of success: $35-$75 per hour.
      • Hourly rate for grant writers with proven success winning large grants: $75-$150 or more per hour.
      • For a smaller grant, the writer may charge a flat fee of $200-$500 for preparation and submission.

Pricing may also vary based on the complexity of the grant application. A federal grant that requires pages of research, budgets and a business plan may take more than 30 hours to prepare. For a high-level grant writer who charges $100 per hour, this means $3,000 or more in grant writing fees.

Most grant writers will provide you with a total cost estimate before agreeing to the work. You may be required to pay a deposit up front, or the grant writer may work from a retainer. Often, seasoned grant writers pay for themselves in the long run by writing successful grants.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
