What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base prices are average suggested price by Thumbtack. I think that’s fair both to my customers and to me.
If there are multiple same items on the same order, I tend to apply a small discount.
Also, if the images and web links of the items are provided on the request, initial estimate can be adjusted better suited for that specific item.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication. I ensure that my customer and I are on the same page and agree on the expectations of both parties.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am doing mainly furniture assembly. I enjoy following the assembly instructions just like building Legos.
