As someone who used to struggle with obesity and prior injuries, I understand the immense effort that goes into staying healthy. I use my personal experience to guide clients down the same path toward peak fitness that I undertook myself. How I am different from other trainers Before you commit, I will explain everything you will and will not receive from me, which means complete transparency prior to your program. No false promises (i.e. lose/gain weight fast, avoid surgery, etc) and no bait and switch pricing games. During each session you will receive professional, honest and results-driven exercise routines in a private studio. Never experience double/triple booking or waiting to see me past your scheduled exercise time. Expect to receive a custom program that is unique and specific to your concerns. As a bonus, listen to the music that you like while you workout (e.g. jazz, funk, rap, classical, whatever you want). Every person is unique and as such, has different health and fitness goals. What I love about being a personal trainer is to be able to discern my client's unspoken needs as well as the ones they vocalize. For example, I had a client who had complained of lower back pain. After a few simple tests we discovered the client had major tightness in his hamstrings. Even though he wanted to loose weight, he first needed to incorporate flexibility exercises to decrease the tension before we could focus on his other fitness goals. I will not in good conscience ignore flexibility problems that could compromise your overall fitness problems.

I've been working with Denise in her studio for a month now, twice a week, and making great progress. Denise is awesome! She has the knowledge and skills of a physical therapist, fitness trainer, and personal coach, all in one. Everything she does is tailored to my situation and needs, from session to session, and the goals we have set together. And she is fun to work with. I am damn lucky I found her!

Denise has a terrific approach to training both body and mind. The combination of exercises and approaches she uses are design to tone and strengthen every part of the body. Also she uses very little equipment which makes it easier to repeat the exercises and routines on your own. All you need is the discipline to do it!! It is a joy and pleasure to work with her.

Denise is a great trainer. I have a lot of neck trouble and take Lyrica for nerve damage. Denise worked through exercises and personalized everything for my condition. She helped me build strength to lessen my incidents of pain. Denise understands how to work with medical conditions. Besides that, she is just fun and personable. I love working out with her.
