Brian has been teaching music for over 20 years. He is a graduate of Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA and teaches all styles and levels of Guitar, Ukulele, beginner Piano and Vocals. Brian teaches his students to play by ear and/or read music. Brian teaches from his private studio located in Round Rock, TX or remotely by FaceTime or Zoom. Brian also owns and operates a complete professional audio PA system. Equipment includes top of the line JBL speakers, Crown amplifiers, and digital mixer complete with wireless microphones and everything needed for your next party or corporate event. *References available upon request.

Brian is extremely knowledgeable about guitar and and he’s a very talented performer. He is still playing in three bands and he teaches all ages. He’s the real deal and he’s such a great guy! Brian taught my son to play guitar at a high level so we hired him to be our son’s band leader. They were an amazing teen classic rock band and played all over Texas. I have worked and collaborated with Brian and found him great to work with. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Brian taught guitar to both of our daughters, and helped direct a rock band for one of them. His attitude was alway's great, even when presented with challenging situation with the band. I never once saw him bat an eye or show frustration. His positivity helped overcome the frustration all kids have when learning something new. He's an incredible teacher, working with ever kid at their level and has a talent for teaching. His background and expertise always shine through. From teaching basic guitar all the way up to helping with composition, he was an incredible mentor for our kids.

Brian has been my son's guitar teacher for 8 years (since he was 9 years old). Br up an's patience, empathy, professionalism and passion were key factors for my son to become a proficient player. Brian also expanded my son's musical experience and taste and was a big influence for my son's love of the instrument. I amply recommend Brian, he's an amazing teacher and a great person!

Brian Rocks! He is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. He makes lessons convenient by coming to you and shows up on time. He encourages his students to explore other genres for a well rounded appreciation of music.

Mr. Curtis has done an amazing job with my son. He keeps the sessions interesting by judging and engaging the students at their level while pushing them to develop into better players. I highly recommend Mr. Curtis.
