Chris himself is very nice to work with but some of his tutors not so much. As a concerned parent I'd highly recommend to re-evaluate the tutors.
Profesional, on time. Has a lot of knowledge about all the topic I covered in college algebra. I tried 2 other tutor before her. I stayed with sandy because I liked how she explained the material. I will encourage anyone to not hesitate to start working with her. You will totally see the improvement and gain confidence in math
I was having a very rough time with calculus. It was the third time I took the class. I contacted Arbor Tutors and they provided me with a wonderful calculus tutor who is able to explain everything very patiently and fill in the gaps that I had.
I attended classes at Southwest Institute of technology where Mr. Cochrane is a teacher and tutor. He explains each piece of a process in detail. He is also very good at explaining why a process is done. When it came to me not understanding a problem or wanting to touch up my grade, he offered excellent after class tutoring. My grades significantly improved when I attended his tutoring session. He is an Outstanding Teacher and Tutor.
Claire has had a great improvement in her algebra course as a freshman with Ms. Vecera. She is punctual, understanding, calm and to the point with her skills. It took Claire a good 4 lessons to know that we were with the right person. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a true up to date math tutor.

Randy was a great help to my daughter with Geometry. She was struggling to understand the material and tutoring with her school teacher wasn't cutting it. She really liked working with Randy because he is patient and motivating. He helped explain things in a way that she understood and encouraged her. He is flexible about meeting places and times.
Joel is a great tutor. He is very patient and took his time discovering the areas I was having trouble with. I've recommended him to other friends.
I love teaching and helping students realize their own potential as their grades and test scores improve. As a former military officer and associate professor of naval science, I have had the privilege of sharing my passion for teaching with students of all ages and backgrounds. My educational background consists of a BS degree in Computer Engineering Technology, MS degree in Organizational Leadership and Management, and Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) certifications in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. I have also taught college algebra for two years, home schooled grades 2-12, tutored students in elementary school and college, and served as a Bible school teacher for more than 20 years in several local churches. I tutor because it allows me to work with students one-on-one, to give each person the individual time and attention needed so that they understand difficult concepts and learn how to work more efficiently and effectively. I specialize in General Math, Algebra, Conversational English, and basic computer courses (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). I can also assist students in other subjects such as Reading, English and Science. My approach to tutoring varies depending on the student's needs and learning style. It is my goal during each session to help students learn to solve problems, but more importantly, I want to encourage and inspire them to enjoy learning! I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence grows. I use questions and real-world examples to check understanding throughout the sessions. When assisting with homework, I will provide similar examples but will not do the students homework for them! To ensure that students have a comfortable study space, I am happy to travel to your home or to a location of your choosing. Although I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, Im very flexible with time and will work with you to schedule make-up sessions. Feel free to contact me with questions or to schedule a session. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve success in your studies!
I am an exceptional student and thus, I know how students see things and that makes it easier for me to teach them as I am a student myself and that makes my service effective. My prices are also not as high as other online tutors.

I offer tutoring services specifically for math of all ages. I am a certified math teacher and currently teach at the high school level. I have taught pre-calculus, algebra 2, math models, and advanced quantitative reasoning.
My business is education. I will push you to the limits and believe me, you will love to learn and compete academically. After a successful career in teaching and athletic coaching in South Texas, I enjoy working to improve children of all ages and walks of life. Leaning should and will be fun. The best memories in my life were in school.
My explanations are tailored to the student who is eager to learn in an inspiring and fun way. First, I use the "old fashioned" step-by-step "long-hand" approach to show the logic, and then I move to a more simplified "short-cut" method. My love of learning encompasses my entire life, and the fun of problem-solving drives me to motivate the student to do his or her best. Nothing is more rewarding than to see the spark of understanding in the eyes of your students.
