- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our technicians take an annual workshop to stay up with the latest techniques and Appliances with the most recent problems and trouble shooting techniques. Also testing afterwards has to be completed and correct in order to move to next years workshop.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out in Air Conditioning but answered an ad over 25 years ago for an Appliance Tech. with own tools and truck. That's how I got started as an Appliance Technician.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most common, hmmmm, lots of common problems. As far as Washers are concerned overloading is a big problem as you should usually set your level setting on "Medium", allowing your washer to clean more thourghly without all the weight it puts on the transmission and motor.
