Introduction: Hi, I'm Trent Smith, the owner of Privé Catering. I'm an aspiring chef and I'm currently attending The Culinary Institute of America studying culinary arts. I'm a 2nd generation cook. I am from Lafayette, La. My specialty is cajun cuisine with a French foundation. Here we understand the importance of food. Let me tell you this was so good. Oxtail was awesome. Dirty rice on point. When I see the chef walk up with the Walkerswood Jerk seasoning….it is going down 🤩🤩 AND he cleaned the kitchen after🤩🤩🤩🤩…. I’m done… Never knew I needed chef… and now I know I do….like I’m totally in the get you a personal chef camp. Thank you Chef Trent. I will hire you again.

We had an amazing culinary experience with Chef Trent! Definitely be a birthday to remember. We just had a baby and weren't ready for a night out just yet, Chef Trent brought that experience to our home. Providing the same caliber of any fine dining experience with the added benefit of not leaving our home and getting to watch our meal be created table side. Chef Trent is very personable and has a true passion for the meals he creates. We are very grateful for the experience and look forward to working with Prive Catering in the future.

I hired Chef Trent to cook a meal for 12 guys on a Bachelor party in Austin. Boy did he deliver! He was well-prepared and arrived right on time. He dealt with a sub-par Air BnB kitchen and still was able to cook a top notch meal. He was personable and fit right in with our group. He even recommended the best cooking knives to use! His Cajun Seafood Dip alone is worth 5 Stars. Also had Bruschetta as an appetizer and Tuscan Chicken as a main course. He also surprised us with Cannoli as a dessert. Many thanks to Chef Trent and can't recommend him enough!

Trent was absolutely phenomenal!! The food was well seasoned to perfection, original, and displayed beautifully. I could not have asked for a better experience for my PhD graduation brunch/dinner. I HIGHLY recommend this chef for any occasion; you will not go wrong!!

Chef Trent was incredible! He came to our vacation rental to prepare dinner for 10 of us to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday! We enjoyed it very much and would have loved to have had Chef Trent dining at the table with us! We will be seeing him again! You won’t be disappointed! The food was great, the company was wonderful! And he even left the kitchen cleaned! Thank you, Chef!
