3/2013 I have a spring in my step. My attitude has gone from extremely negative to positive, happy to be alive and happy to be in a better place. I have so much more energy to do things and I'm exercising more than I ever have. I really think that I'm the healthiest I have been in 10+ years even when I was actively doing triathlons I don't think I was this healthy. You have helped me achieve a great deal over the past 4 + months. I'm very close to my goal weight and I have made great strides with my back surgery recovery. You always provided me a good balance of pushing me to challenge myself and improve but keeping in my mind that I had surgery and paying attention to form and doing the correct exercises. Even when I was actively doing triathlons I don't think I was in this good of shape. You have provided me multiple workouts that I can continue to use and train on my own and have shown me that you don't need to have a huge weight set to get a GREAT workout. Plus I did regular push-ups (not on my knees) for the FIRST time in my life! Howard, thank you very much, I have enjoyed working with you and I'm so glad that I got paired up with you. This is just the beginning and you will still see me regularly in the gym! Thank you

Previous condition: Feeling tired, stressed, and overall in poor shape Motivation to change: I wanted to feel less back pain, and stress.. Since I started training I have not had any back issues, sleeping better, and feel much better about my overall health. I wanted to change my lifestyle so I can live longer and Howard was a key part of the steps needed to make these changes manageable. Obstacles: I love to eat good food, and drink good wine. Most days the motivation to get up was only knowing Howard was there to pull me through those first few months; otherwise, I would not have continued. Overcoming obstacles: Knowing I was seeing Howard a few times each week was a motivator to now waste mine or his time. I wanted to feel better and Howard gave me the steps I needed to take to reach my objective. Current health: Excellent - I am in the best shape I have been since I was a kid. I am 42 but feel like I am 20 again. Final words: Thanks to Howard's training and guidance - I lost 27 pounds and down to 13% body fat. Howard is such an authentic trainer, he shoots straight, and has an extensive knowledge base in every area I needed help: nutrition, weight training, cardio, and stress relief tactics.

I just wanted to share some exciting news. As you know, I've been working hard at the gym and this morning I woke up and crawled up on the scale, thinking I was going to see what I saw last time. But I was happily surprised! In the last month and with your help, I have lost 11.5 pounds!! Thank you so much for all your help and support, I feel great and wanted to thank you :-)

Since I've started I've lost about 20 lbs and I fell awesome. I have some much more energy now that I can't help but wonder how I was getting by before. I wanted to challenge myself and Howard pushed me beyond what I thought possible. I know I couldn't have learned as much as I did without my trainer Howard. He pushed me to by always staying positive and encouraging me to do better and keep trying.

    $50/hour session - 1x/wk $25/ half hour session - 1x/wk

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Yes every year I receive 4 continuing education credits to maintain my certifications. I typically complete an additional certification to achieve the required CEU's.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    While in college I tore my hamstring while playing football and didn't understand how it happen. I decided I wanted to learn about the human anatomy so I could help others prevent injuries and avoid the frustration I felt.
