Plumber Sosa made my job 1st priority. He arrived ready to work and resolved the problem fast. He's price was reasonable and he gave good advise on what to expect next. The valve in the hot-water heater was ruined and he replaced the valve and it worked. I didn't have any hot-water so after he left I did have hot-water. So the problem was taken care of...no problem! Quite economical.
On Memorial Day weekend, the first really hot day of the season, our 23-year old Rheem 12 SEER HVAC finally gave it up, so we thought, and it seemed appropriate to finally replace it with a more efficient system. We had already researched the HVAC brands and systems and narrowed it down to three brands, then we contacted five installers, the first being the company that had installed our current unit and had maintained it from then until last week. We used Angie's List, Home Advisor and Thumbtack for our leads Long story short, Jeff was the last in the lineup and intentionally so. He had glowing reviews on Thumbtack but we were still skeptical about the size of his operation and included him to round out the selection. From our first contact, Jeff was professional, courteous and pleasant. Once we determined our appointment time, he kept us apprised of his location and ETA. Add punctual to his attributes. We went through the same show-and-tell routine with Jeff as we did with those who preceded him, and it was clear he knows his business and soon knew exactly what we wanted. We made small talk on the front porch as he determined an estimate to meet our requirements, and we were very pleased to receive a written estimate among the lowest and thousands of dollars below the big guys, not least the company to which we had been loyal for more than two decades. Then before taking his leave, Jeff asked if anyone had actually examined the outside main unit to determine the nature of the problem. No one had. They just accepted my explanation and set about writing their estimates. I agreed to his request to take a look at it at no charge, since he was already here. Upon closer examination of the unit, he remarked it appeared not to have cleaned in years, as everything was dirt caked with dirt, and he suggested I should take my contracted maintenance team to task for not doing what I had ben paying them to do. Then he examined the components and listened as I explained that I had been told the compressor had "locked up" and would be economically unrepairable. He actually scoffed at that, took some electrical readings and within minutes pronounced that whatever other problems there may be, the capacitor was shot. He happened to have one on his truck. Why not replace it and see what happens? We did and of course our dead HVAC sprang back to life. A few more tests, including coolant pressure readings and Jeff then stated he could certainly replace the unit if that's what we want, but why not wait until it really breaks? I paid Jeff a nominal cost for the capacitor, no service charge, and days later it's still going strong. In the meantime, Jeff knows when the time comes, we'll be calling on him to do the real heavy lifting.
S&G contacted us within 2 hrs on a Sunday, to see if he could help us over the phone. My husband had recently injured his back and having a outdoor hot tub is always helpful. He came out first thing Monday morning, he went to the specialized store and returned with the correct piece to fix the problem. I especially enjoyed the easy learning lesson in what to look for in the future if this happens again. Thank You and God Bless!
I discovered this service by mistake, but so glad I did. I had many jobs to be done. Tile flooring, shower floor redone, replace a vanity, two toilets, stretched carpet, replace a bathroom faucet and change out a light over the vanity. Replace a kitchen faucet with an added hot water dispenser. Gabriel was also kind enough to give me important cleaning tips that I'll use from now on. Gabriel is a exceptionally nice man, clean in appearance and cleans up each and every work day. I appreciated that I never had a mess. I will definitely have more jobs and definitely call VG Cleaning and Remodeling Services again and again.
We had a different plumber come look at our water heater after the hot water in our house lost pressure. They said there was nothing wrong with the hot water heater and that we had a blockage in our pipes and they would call us back. After not calling us back for 4 days (and thank heavens they didn't), we called Martin and asked him to come out and assess our problem. He came out same day we called him, found the problem that was with the hot water heater (no blockage in the pipes), and fixed it all in about a half hours time. He was very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. And what he charges is more than fair, great rates. We will definitely be calling Martin in the future if we have further plumbing needs!
Mauricio fixed a leak in a washing machine I purchased off of Craigs List. He arrived on time. He accurately diagnosed the problem. The nozzle that fills the tank with water was 80 percent blocked with calcium deposits and it was forcing water out through the opening that held a sensor. He cleaned the nozzle and cleared the calcium out with vinegar I had on hand. He fashioned a new gasket from some double-sided tape that I had on hand. I had to wait 24 hours before testing it. I just finished testing the fix and my problem has been resolved. He charged me an $80 labor/service call, which was within the original quoted price. Overall I was very pleased.
I hereby proclaim Rene Burrola "The Magic Man." After another Thumbtack service provider came and proclaimed my 20-year-old water heater officially dead - even after attempting all possible repairs - and failing to close the deal on installing a new one, Platinum IAQ Specialist Inc. came along and fixed the problem with a wave of his magic wand. Loved his attitude from the moment he uttered something to the effect of "ain't nothing can't be fixed." He had the tricky pilot on my tank re-lit and pumping hot water in less time than his competitor could quote me a price on a replacement unit, which was going to cost me $730. Oh, and by the way, I told them to go ahead and deliver, but they failed to call back. Meantime, Magic Man Rene ran to my rescue. It was the most pleasant service call in my five years of home ownership. And to think Rene said servicing hot-water heaters is secondary to his AC/Heating expertise. He said he also services most major appliances, and can handle plumbing duties, too. I know who I'll call first next time I need most things done around this house - Rene Borrola, The Magic Man.
Price should not always be the final deciding factor when you have the right expertise aligned to deliver excellence the first time! Yes, it is more uncommon for one to place cost of services secondary these days, but I'd like to challenge you to think differently for a moment. Please allow me to share with you why: I hired Juan with Silver & Black Electric Services to install electrical for my hot tub. To start, my hot tub was not delivered in accordance to the expected timeline. This made coordinating the electrical hookup in advance complicated and frustrating. From the time I began communication with Juan is where complication and frustration transformed into action and commitment! Previously, I had requested quotes a couple weeks back. Silver & Black Electric Services provided me a reasonable bid up front, but it was not the first I investigated further. I sought a few other opinions and was indifferent regarding their inspection of the scope of work on-site, planning, supplies, scheduling appointment returns, and cost. When my hot tub finally did arrive, it was impossible to get anyone to engage timely. Typical how these things always seems to actually work in reality? Your not alone! Pay attention! This is where Juan with Silver & Black took the lead! Upon my first inquiry the evening before the install, I inquired on availability from Silver & Black Electric Services via Thumbtack App built-in Chat. Juan was impressive with his fast turnaround offering me reasonable install window options -- so much so that he eventually worked with me one-off to make accommodating arrangements with my rather complex scheduling requirements. As most electricians would want to do, Juan requested an on-site inspection. I informed him of some of my limitations and he worked with me to gather the information he needed to assess the job, provide me feedback, and coordinate the timeframe. Juan asked the right questions and I appreciated that as it demonstrated to me he was sincerely concerned about meeting my objectives and that he would be delivering with accuracy. While there was some variance in his actual start time, I was impressed with Juan's action-oriented behavior and intense focus in doing what he needed to do to obtain all supplies for his work to deliver to his installation commitment. Impressive. Juan completed all work within the timeframe he estimated. He even went above-and-beyond and offered recommendation on another nearby, unrelated electrical modification. Juan actively communicated with me through the Thumbtack App all the way through the completion of the work, so I felt confident with the status updates on his work. Upon final inspection of the installation, Juan took the time to give me an overview of his work. I observed this and took note of his delivery of detail which translated into his passion and pride in the work he does. He exuded focus, patience, and was a pleasure to converse with. I never felt pressured, rushed, or belittled by my knowledge [or lack thereof] in the electrical realm. This is to be noted as we have all previously dealt with tradesmen and his/her unfiltered, condescending tone. Finally, Juan adhered to his quoted price for services and was prompt in finalizing the transaction. This was refreshing from the low-ball, inch up approaches that I have previously experienced on other hires. One highlight in particular I took observation on was that Juan took the time to clean up his work (i.e., sawdust, loose parts/screws, crumpled paperwork, etc.). I can't tell you the last time I had an installer [even good installers] truly leave the site as one would expect. Wow! Thank you! Juan, so glad that my hot tub arriving late caused my unforeseen panic as it allowed me the opportunity to put your services to the test! You delivered! After this experience, I would not even waste time bidding/calling/waiting before engaging Juan with Silver & Black Electric Services for my next electrical need!
Our AC was blowing out hot air, I had been in contact with Aaron Rodriguez and other companies throughout the day trying to find the best person to do the job at the best rate, Aaron was the one who stood out the most, he replied quickly and kept in contact, he was able to come out after I got home from work even though it was in the evening. I really appreciated that. He answered my questions before he came out to trouble shoot, once he arrived he discovered that not only did our AC have a leak but also that the power sources was throwing out sparks. Had he not noticed that or maybe even came out the same day, it could have potentially have caused a fire. Unfortunately because of the time, I couldn't get an electrican to come out and rewire the whole power source until the next morning, but Aaron was out there the next morning replacing the AC unit and was ready to connect to the new panel as soon as that was done. Aaron is very personable, professional and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely use Aaron again in the future.
Mike and Carlos were fantastic. I am overly satisfied with their work, their professionalism and going above and beyond. They completed my gas hot water install quickly and efficiently and it was in my attic on the 2nd floor! They helped me pick out a water heater to fit my budget and needs. I highly recommend them for all your handyman projects. And they also had the best price!
On time Friendly folks, They Listened to my ideas. Worked well together. They even took the water old leaking tank away with them saving me a disposal fee!. Will use them again! Thanks! Highly recommend! -JC.
Russell did and excellent job. After troubleshooting he determined my hot water line needed a backwards flush to get the gunk out. He showed me how to perform it in case I have the same issue again. I'll definitely use him if I have any plumbing issues I can't figure out.
He went to my sister's home and installed a new hot water heater. My parents said he went beyond the call of duty. They were also please with the price.
We called at night and hr was right there!!! Got us hot water that nute. Highly recommend this young man!!!!I will gladly recommend this company.
Bryan replaced both of our water heaters and brought them up to code. He was polite and honest. His quote was very competitive (especially for an insured, Master plumber) and it was accurate with no hidden fees. He arrive on time, worked quickly and left the area clean. I highly recommend Bryan if you are looking for a plumber to fix your problem and not a salesman to sell you a bunch of stuff you don't need. I would hire him again.
They were a very professional company!! They tried to fix it first and when that did not work, they replaced my hot water tank with a new one! The work was done well!!
I can not say enough good things about this company. I had a leak in my hot water heater. They were very pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable. They were out the same day I called. Very reasonable priced! Highly recommend! Excellent work!!
Mr. Zinna replaced my 12 year old water heater within 2 hours of his arrival. SA Mechanical's work was done professionally and within quoted budget. I will be contacting SA Mechanical for any other plumbing issues and wholeheartedly recommend him for replacing Hot Water Heaters.
I have been a satisfied customer of Air Zone Heating and Air Conditioning for over twenty years. I have never been disappointed. The service is arranged in a kind, courteous, and convenient manner. The work is performed promptly and with skill. Charges are fair and thoroughly explained. When friends ask me if I know of a good and honest heating and air conditioning company, I always recommend Air Zone.
Remove/install hot water heater. Great work and great price. Follow up after service shows his dedication to his craft!
Jacob was fantastic. He showed up on time. He took plenty of time to inspect the hot water heater and flush it as requested. He did the job for the price he quoted me and he is a very nice person on top of all that. I've got his card and I will definately keep it around for future plumbing work. So nice to do business with nice people.
Replaced gas hot water heater. Allowed me to purchase the unit and helped me deliver it to my home. Completed work within estimated time frame at hours convenient to me. Knowledgeable and conscientious. Trustworthy. Fare price. Accurate estimate.
We offer twice the service at half the price of others. With almost all plumbers being equal, we can now offer complete water heater system installs starting at $899
