Introduction: Every massage therapist works differently. Some are great at Swedish while others thrive doing deep tissue. I'm great with pain. Depending on what you need I can work slowly and effectively as to not cause more unnecessary pain or get right in there if your pain tolerance is high. Helping people! I see muscles as a big puzzle! I like figuring out what's wrong or what's tight and fixing it.

Martita Chavez is an amazing massage therapist! Every massage I have ever had with her i leave feeling incredible and like a new person. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing with the soothing music and candles. She is extremely skilled in what she does and works with you on your needs and makes it a session where you know you are not only getting your money's worth but you will feeling incredible after. I wouldn't go to anyone else and highly recommend her.

Martita is an amazing therapist! She always knows just where I need the most work and uses the perfect amount of pressure to leave me feeling relieved and relaxed, a quality many other therapists feel is an either/or type of treatment. She is professional, punctual, and courteous, a must have for a therapist who makes home visits. I have been Martita's client for a few years and have seen her weekly for pain management - I just love what she does for me. She is great at identifying the specific issues and uses just the right pressure and techniques (deep tissue, trigger point) to get things back to normal. Martita has also worked on my wife and my wife loves her as well

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Massage Therapists are required by law to have 12hrs of continuing education every 2 years. A list of my CEU's can be found on my website.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was a very natural decision. In my family I was the one rubbing shoulders and feet! So I enrolled right after high school.
