- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The last job I planned/hosted was an American Girl tea party where I made the invitations for the guests and mom mailed. Each child was to bring their 18 inch doll. I brought tables and chairs and covered with fabric on back to decorate. I also brought in porcelain tea sets. The mom provided all the food (small sandwiches and dips) and drinks (I suggested apple juice to look like tea). We then played musical chair, and other games. After eating and games, we then cleared the table for a craft that included the dolls. Each child made a scarf for themselves and matching for their dolls. I provided the felt fabric and scissors, and explanation. I also provided the goodie customized bags that included American Girl brand stickers, candy, and lip gloss. It was time for the cake! Mom provided the cake, and after eating, we all had fun telling stories, then danced a while. The party was a big success! The decorations were especially beautiful that included a frame for the birthday American Girl, and a customized birthday shirt! Each child also took a polaroid photo from the photo booth I set up. It was a joy seeing the girls so excited, especially the birthday girl!!!
