I am beyond satisfied with the outcome of my landscaping project. Marcello went way above expectations to produce quality work in a timely manner. His professionalism and responsiveness is admirable. Marcello kept me informed of details and asked questions as he walked me through process to ensure my expectations were exceeded. Marcello even fixed a few sprinkler heads at no cost and corrected some of the landscaping errors of my pool company! I would definitely hire Waterfalls Landcare again and recommend them for any of your landscaping needs.

Drew and his crew are awesome! I have been through a few landscaping companies and they are by far the best. Not only are they attentive, clean and considerate but they also leave the garden looking beautiful! I love the fact that I don't have to worry about running to the bank to get cash. They ran my credit card after the mow was done and sent my invoice to my email. Super smooth! I don't even have to be at home when they're here. Really really love that! Also, first time mow was only 14! Who could say no to that ;) Could not ask for better service. Highly highly recommend these folks!

I have used a lot of different landscaping services through the years and Blumen Landscaping & Garden Maintenance is over the top. They are not just about weekly service: mow, weed eat, trim, grab the money and move onto the next house . They actually know what to pick where to plant and most importantly how to plant properly. We revamped much of my landscape design and they worked with me with plant selection. Can’t wait for everything to grow into our vision. I was so pleased with their service, I chose to use them as well for replacement of my existing grass to Cavalier Zoysia. Very pleased with how all of that went & at reasonable costs.

David and his crew did a fantastic job. I can believe they did the job during a holiday weekend. They came in Saturday morning and finished up on Sunday. The back flowerbeds and new grass look great and they left the job with it looking ready to used for a barbecue Sunday evening... I would recommend them, and will be using David to do the weekly yard / garden work on my house.. Thanks guys, Dave

"Keep the faith" Where there is a will there is a way. I cannot say enough about this man. He is honest, sincere,, does quality work and most importantly does not take advantage of anyone he comes in contact with. His workers are respectful, hard working, cleans up behind each other and the finished product will match any Better Homes and Gardens magazine. He and his crew did painting, layed tiles and flooring, installed Oklhoma river rock in a petrition area, went the extra mile by helping getting rid of the paint smell with blower fans, etc.I highly recommend him for any of your home repairs or remolding needs.

I'm physically capable of most labor-related jobs. I'm knowledgable with most hand tools, and I have been in home improvement work for around 4 years now. I can help with things from lawn and garden work to housecleaning and small indoor repairs. I'm an ongoing learner in carpentry too.

        Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How much does it cost to have landscaping done?

Professional landscaping can help reinvent your outdoor space, boost your curb appeal and get a major return on investment with. Landscaping can encompass anything from adding new plants, trees and shrubs, to leveling the ground and laying sod for a lawn, to building in hardscaping such as sidewalks, water features or retaining walls. The national average landscaping price is $10,160. Landscaping prices can be far lower (with hourly rates ranging from $50 to $150) if you’re only seeking professional help with softscaping or seeking consultation on landscape design. Softscaping means adding or changing horticultural elements, such as planting a garden or adding a hedge. Hardscaping is where costs can really start to rise. Hardscaping requires labor and heavy equipment to excavate the earth; you may need to pour concrete, or you may need a pro who can transport and place gravel and other inorganic elements. Your total landscaping cost will vary based on the amount of work you want done, how much labor is required, and the cost of the materials you are using. A good rule of thumb for a major landscaping project, according to the American Society of Landscape Architects, is to budget 5 percent to 10 percent of the value of your home.

How much does it cost to landscape your front yard?

Prices for landscaping your front yard can range from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands of dollars, depending on the scale of your front yard project. Your landscaping price will reflect how much change you implement, how much labor is required, and the cost of materials.

Landscaping is typically made up of softscaping and hardscaping. Softscaping refers to selecting trees, bushes, flowers and plants to achieve a desired aesthetic and to meet goals such as having a drought-tolerant yard. Hardscaping refers to moving earth, installing structures, and putting in decorative stonework, sidewalks or lighting. For softscaping, you may want to hire a landscape designer to consult on your plants and layout, and then do the digging and planting yourself or hire a gardner to handle the heavy lifting. A landscape designer’s hourly rate may range from $50 to $150 or more. If you want a turnkey approach, meaning someone who works with you to create the vision and then executes all the work, landscaping pricing will typically come down to a cost per square foot rather than an hourly rate. It’s a solid investment: Great landscaping can add up to 28 percent value to your home.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
