DRUM Lessons - My son is new to music lessons. John is very patient. Repeating concepts so he understands, but continues to introduce new concepts. I'm not sure we will continue once initial lessons paid for in advance are completed as my my son is complaining of a headache after lessons.

I went in basically knowing nothing about playing guitar or reading music. Within about a year of going to Giancarlo for vocal and guitar lessons, I had already formed my own band, had about 4 hours worth of cover songs, and had written a few of my own songs and was getting ready to go play live (before I moved states). He is a great teacher and really knows so much about music and playing. One of the biggest things he emphasizes, which goes without saying, is PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!! I would recommend him to anybody!

Very Patient, Paul can tell if you have practiced or not. Paul is an amazing teacher, and actually cares to know what is going on in the student's life. Would recommend him to anyone who is starting to learn how to play the drums!! Kind of wish I was not in school that way I can keep taking drum lessons.

I was the Lucky Silent auction winner of JJ Music and magic for a stage show, which i then donated to the elementary school i worked in. His show was funny and the magic tricks were really good. I was so impressed that i hired him for my sons 5th birthday party and his show did not disappoint. I would recommend him to anyone.

Lessons With Austin has been an awesome experience for my 15 year old son who plays the drums and has been there for about a year and a half. We were looking for inexpensive drum lessons since we weren't sure if he would stick with them and LWA provides the only group lesson setting we could find for drummers which makes the lessons more affordable. Once my son got serious about drumming we switched to private lessons. Sayer is an excellent teacher and my son, who can be a bit quirky and sometimes the quiet type, really relates to him. In addition there is a recital two times per year and it is a fun recital to attend because they are allowed to pick out their own songs for the most part and often it is popular or rock music that is fun to listen to. Not excruciating to sit through as my son's piano recitals sometimes were. Overall the teaching is quality and they always use positive feedback and my son feels like they "get" him which keeps him motivated and he has become a good little drummer! Every now and then there are some organizational issues, but I think that is just the result of them growing really fast and this seems to be improving as time goes on.

I've worked with Ed on and off over the last few years. As a player, he is a total pro, able to deliver at a high level across many styles. What I really love about playing with Ed is that he is also a great person - always a positive attitude, punctual and prepared. Ed is my first call when I need a drummer, for both live and studio work. He has also given some drum lessons to my son, providing not just style and technique, but also some great philosophy and guidance about music in general.

About

I am a certified music teacher (all levels) and private wind instrument instructor. I can teach all wind instruments and a little percussion. My primary instrument is flute.

About

My teaching style really gets to the heart of a budding musician. It can be hard to get the basics on any instrument these days, what with our busy lives and such, but that's why I'm here! I firmly believe that anybody can learn to play an instrument. It will make your life have a new sense of accomplishment, and you'll get to play songs you like and your own music too! The best part about this job for me, is watching someone who just had that lightbulb go off in their head and they now get what I was teaching them. It's just one of the greatest feelings in the world to know that you helped someone reach a new level of understanding like that.

Taking lessons through FEMMEB0T allows you to CUSTOMIZE your lessons. We ask you a series of questions and take into consideration your preferred learning method. While that is cool and all, the thing that makes lessons with our collective STAND OUT is the fact that we donate an ACT OF KINDNESS when students purchase a 4 pack of hour long lessons. We believe that creativity and kindness go hand in hand. Let's make a better community by spreading music and compassion to those less fortunate. I love learning from our students. I learn something new with every interaction from my clients. It's also great to be able to play music all day!
