I've taken piano lessons with Bob for seven years now, and it has been an excellent experience. He tailors the lessons and the training approach to the individual, rather than applying a "one size fits all" approach. He has been extremely accommodating of my schedule, and rapidly responds to questions I have regarding material we've covered. I highly recommend him.

Janice is a very talented, patient, and flexible instructor. Definitely, an expert in her field. I would recommend Janice to any one, from a new cello student to the advanced. Also very kind, never demanding or overbearing. However her love for the cello, its strength and beauty, encourages you to push yourself. Bravo Janice, I find you a delight to work with!

I teach from the the viewpoint of what, and how my student's feel. I let them know, especially beginners, how it was, I felt, and how I overcame the challenges I faced learning to play. I always speak to them at their level, reminding them I understand what they are going through. Putting my students at ease! The personal interaction, connecting with another person who loves music and seeing the satisfaction on my student's face when they learn to play a song.

We assess and understand all the different ways our clients learn best and tailor our classes to those needs. Seeing our clients succeed and their happiness is what drives us.

Theresa primarily works with students of all ages and backgrounds. This includes adults and professionals who are interested in either learning or honing their musical skills for personal or professional reasons. Students have included doctors, attorneys, IT professionals and retirees as well as high school students bound for college and wish to perfect their audition skills. All level of skills from beginners to advanced students are welcome. Curriculum is based on the needs of the student. Each one is reviewed for their approach and desired direction.

My students develop a solid foundation. Many teachers aim for students to "have fun" but I aim to have students see the importance of hard work and learn to enjoy the musical process. Many students may say they have more fun because they are just able to attempt more interesting musical activities due to their competency with foundational exercises. My students also get experience with pop and rock music. We live in a time when cellists should not, and in some cases can not limit themselves to classical music, so I try to facilitate an environment where students get opportunities to play amplified cello, and so on. I love watching a student see the value of hard work. I love watching a student listen to themselves closely and be able to be honest with themselves (but not critical). They become their own taskmaster. I love watching a piece of music take shape and turn into something beautiful. I love listening to beautiful music.

I teach cello to any student who is willing to practice and learn. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call me for details.
