I feel that I have improved so much in the short while that I have been taking voice lessons! And I feel more confident singing in front of people! Brian is always very encouraging and positive, but still gives critiques that make a huge difference! The tips and tricks that he gives are so helpful, and he explains them well! I really enjoy lessons every week!
I started voice lessons with April recently and I am so pleased with the progress I have made. I have made considerably more progress than with a previous teacher. I feel like my practice time really makes a difference because April makes sure I know what and how to practice and how to problem solve. Plus she's such a pleasure to work with.
Joseph was wonderful, I just don't think I have time for lessons right now and can't afford it
I met this beautiful soul back in August 2015. It's been a year and a half, and I thank God everyday for the blessing of finding her through Thumbtack. Service provided: My goal was to receive singing lessons from her for only 6 months. But, her willingness of always giving more than just a voice lesson, (tuning forks, essential oils, tea's, etc), and her desire to help me better myself, has been more than what I expected. She over delivers and I received way more than what I paid for. Her technique is different, and not once has it forced my vocal chords. I've learned to breath the correct way, speak the correct way, and continue to learn how to present myself when singing to others. She also gives Labs which shows us more techniques, and we are able to perform twice a year to our family and friends. What went well: Since I began with her, I've gained more confidence in myself. I was able to sing with the German Choir in the fall of 2016. But the best part of hiring her, was helping me fulfill my dream come true, in singing to my husband for our wedding. She provided the recording as a gift and was present during the wedding while I sang to my husband. How many teachers would really go out of their way for you? You decide. She believed in me, and that makes a teacher your friend. Could change anything?: Yes, I wish she I could have found her 20 years ago!!! Other than that, I would NOT change a thing. I end by sharing a quote I love "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear" She taught me that I must become the voice, my voice, to complete what the forest offers when we here the birds singing.
Looking forward to having voice lessons from him!
Diana is a remarkable teacher. Well educated with a breath of vocal and pedogogical experience. She immediately puts you at ease as you inevitably must face your vulnerabiltiy when singing. As a beginnig voice student I was amazed at the accesable way Diana teaches the fundamentals. I have and will continue to recommend students to her.
Greg is awesome! I had my first vocal lesson with him today and I feel that I've already learned a lot. First off, he does not charge much, compared to other vocal instructors, which is great because I am trying to save every cent I can. Secondly, Greg is nice, friendly, and cares about your success. Greg is also funny and outgoing. He will definetly help you come out of your shell if you are a shy singer. Greg has helped me by teaching me helpful vocal warm-ups, correct techinque (posture, breathing, etc.), and by practicing songs to improve my vocal ability. Greg knows what he is doing and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. I had so much fun at our voice lesson today and I can't wait for future voice lessons!

Brittney is awesome! She's professional and great with kids. We love that she has her own studio. Within a few sessions, she was able to help my daughter gain more confidence and helped her expand her high range and hit notes she didn't believe she could hit before. Overall my daughter really enjoys working with her. We would recommend her to anyone looking to start voice lessons.
Highly recommended. Beautiful voice and helps you get back into singing.
My two grandchildren (ages 10 and 8) are taking beginner piano lessons from Stephanie. She is patient and kind and very good at helping them understand the basics. She has made the lessons very fun. She is a great motivator, and an excellent piano teacher with a lot of experience. This has been a very rewarding experience for all of us.
Patricia is very professional and has an impressive background. I've been singing for years but have been looking for someone to help me sharpen my skills and gain better control over my voice. I've only had one appointment with her so far, but I'm excited to see what she has to offer. I've had a few voice teachers over the years, but none of them could help me much with my specific singing style (rock). I chose Patricia because of her background and knowledge with that style.
What an excellent find! ...and so close to my home too. I have had one lesson with Charles and am looking forward to the next. I appreciate Thumbtack for putting me in touch with him.
I've always wanted to sing, but I've always felt uncomfortable taking lessons with someone. Kahli has been so comfortable to work with. She's helped me progress quickly, and hasn't made me awkward or self conscious. She's excellent at identifying areas that I need to improve, and helping me implement techniques that correct my struggles. Highly recommended!
I started taking voice lessons from Nanette when I was in my forties. I thought I was too old and that it was too late for me. I had only sung in high school and in church choirs, but always wished that I would have had vocal training when I was younger. Nanette never made me feel like it was too late. She is an excellent teacher and she always made me feel confident in my abilities even when I didn't! I went on to sing my first solos at recitals and have been very involved in choral music. Nanette helped me to have the confidence to be able to make singing a very important part of my life. I have also had the opportunity of working in a home office at Nanette's home so over the past 20 years I have been able to hear her teach many young students, and some older ones. I can hear the progress as the weeks pass and know that she has great skills; not only in vocal techniques, but in building the confidence of her students. She has helped a lot of people. Thanks Nanette!
Was professional, actively listened to the kids goals, worked well with both of them and my son could not stop talking about how excited he was for his piano lesson. Thank you
Zach has been an awesome vocal coach! He really cares about his students & brings a positive energy to each lesson. He is super talented & has so much insight & guidance to offer his students. I would highly recommend working with him!
Jennifer became not only a teacher but a friend. I feel comfortable with her and she supported me in my other activities. She has helped me in so many ways and I’ve seen a big noticeable difference in my voice. She was always flexible with my crazy schedule which was a huge help! I am a lot more confidant in my voice thanks to her willingness to work and connectability to help me succeed.
Janae is an incredible teacher, I was in the musical Footloose as Ren McCormack who is an insane high tenor... Which I was not. I had 3 lessons with Janae and could cleanly and powerfully sing every high note I needed to hit. She also helped me sing the style way better so it wasn't as much work on my voice!
