Update: I received a call from the owner and talked through my feedback. He was very understanding and open to my feedback. My original rating was 2 stars. After talking the owner mentioned he would implement some of the feedback I suggest and work with his team for future estimates. He even offered to send me a thank you gift, but that wasn't necessary. Original Post: (2 Stars) 5 Star came out to give me a bid on two bathrooms in my home and came in $18k over the second highest bid I received from other Thumbtack Pros in their category. My home has two standard bathrooms according to 5 Star. The estimator was honest and said my project is not a typical project for their company. I wish they would have listed this on their FAQ's so I wouldn't have wasted time going through the process. They are a "Luxury" company and whom you should choose to do their "forever home"

I was brutally uneducated about the cost of building a bathroom. So I'm not having any work done. But none the less the Gentleman that came over was honest friendly and professional and I appreciated his input. But I don't have 20k to build a bathroom. Thank you
