We had 5 Star do a full bathroom remodel for us and are very pleased with the results. It was a near full tear down of the old bathroom and involved installing a new bath, moving the toilet and shower, replacing countertops, sinks and fixtures, repiping, reflooring, tiling and rebuilding walls. I did some minimal rewiring and repainted. My wife and I are happy with the results. It is beautiful. At the beginning of the project we received many bids for the work and chose 5-Star because they were able to do everything we wanted. Also, Kim, the design consultant, gave us ideas, product options and information that moved us beyond our original ideas to the ideal bathroom that fit the space and look we had in mind for our old house. My only reservation was that it took about 4 1/2 months from signing the contract to final installation of the shower walls. When work started it took about a 6 weeks until completion. To be fair, there was A LOT of work and the glass walls could not be measured and ordered until most of the work was finished. My wife and I have no regrets unless we think about how we should have done this several years ago.Throughout the process, Kinsey (Project Coordinator) called at least every week to apprise us of start dates, work schedules, financing options and more. The installers were careful to cover carpets where they had to travel, kept dirt and dust to a minimum, and removed all construction debris. They were polite and professional. My wife and I are approaching our senior years and recently began exploring a kitchen remodel, something we had never done before. As first-time remodelers, we were understandably nervous about the process, costs, and the decisions ahead.David Dave Adamson from 5 Star Kitchen & Bath arrived promptly for our scheduled appointment and immediately put us at ease through his friendliness and not being pushy. He asked thoughtful, insightful questions. Many questions we hadnt even considered or would have known to think about. He took the time to truly understand our vision. After about 30 minutes of discussion, we expected to move forward with an estimate.Instead, Dave did something that absolutely stunned us.Although he said he would be happy to have 5 Star handle the project, he honestly told us that, based on our goals and budget, we might be better served going in a different direction. He even recommended where we should look. It was clear he was prioritizing our financial well-being over making a sale. Dave's level of integrity is rare amongst salesman. We have been through a lot of them with our remodeling projects.What impressed us even more was what happened next. After we decided to follow his advice, Dave stayed an additional 30 minutes to educate us about the remodeling process, potential pitfalls, and how to protect ourselves so we could have the best possible experience. He had nothing to gain. Dave simply wanted to make sure we were informed and confident moving forward.In all our years of doing business, we have never encountered this level of honesty and professionalism. Daves integrity speaks volumes about the values at 5 Star Kitchen & Bath. Because of this experience, we will recommend 5 Star without hesitation to anyone considering a custom kitchen remodel. We just had 5 Star Kitchen and Bath install a new shower/tub in our rental this week. The design person did a great job and it was a pretty painless process. It did take them a little longer to get started on the project than we had hoped. Kinsey kept me updated on when the install would begin. They were flexible with rescheduling also. The installers, Lazano and Bredy were great to work with! They patiently answered all my questions and were great to ask me how high I wanted the shower head to be placed and where the towel bar should be relocated. They were on time and all the finish work was done with care and concern for the customer. I highly recommend them!
