I have never seen a counselor that gave me an outline of a treatment plan and an estimated time frame to complete counseling. I found it refreshing and helped me stay on track. I also appreciated his matter of fact approach and his sense of humor it kept me relaxed but focused on my goals. I don't think I have ever accomplished so much in such a short amount of time. I highly recommend Dennis!!
I like the idea of relationship coaching, which is more suitable for me compared to counseling/therapy. Nancy is an experienced and professional relationship coach. She prompted questions that help me think about my situation from a different angle. She helped me overcome my inner fear holding me back from getting what I deserve. She is very generous with her time with me and she does not cut the conversation just because time is up for the scheduled session. I couldn't express enough appreciation for her.
The confidentiality, the personal concern, and the amazing counseling that is given. Our couselor Sharon has helped change our marriage for the better as well as given us great understanding about people's personalities and attachment styles. Sharon is the first counselor that we have gone to that has shown genuine care and a great desire to help our marriage as well as help each of us individually to overcome our difficulties and develop our strengths.
My life will never be the same, in a good way! Bianca helped me reach goals and become the person I always hoped and wanted to be. I have gone to counseling for years and never made this much progress! Thanks again Bianca, for everything!
She has been great for our couples counseling! We have loved each session and have left with the opportunity for dialogue that otherwise wouldn't have come up, and with understanding in to the the others' behaviors. In the short time we have been going we have seen the shift in our regular patterns. So happy we chose her!
Eternally grateful to have found this clinic! My husband and I have a happy and loving relationship thanks to the diligent work of our therapist. He was kind, a wonderful listener, highly qualified, and made us feel comfortable enough to express our feelings. We now have the tools we need to communicate effectively and address conflict when it arises. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
This was very interesting! This was my first Tarot reading and it was surprisingly accurate. It was fascinating to see the correlation between the cards and my personal life and state of being. The cards seemed to map out some really significant pieces of my recent past and present and painted a picture of a potential future that seemed quite realistic- because of some of my personality traits. Cool stuff , I was impressed! :) Thank you!
On top of regular talk therapy, XLR8 Fitness and Counseling offers personalized therapeutic exercise programs designed using the concepts of Cognitive Physical Conditioning (CPC) which not only improve the body, but also target the mind. Since CPC stresses the body to improve and adapt to counter mental ailments, it can heal and potentially cure disorders like depression, anxiety, and even PTSD -- reducing the risk for suicide and unhealthy coping mechanisms (i.e. substance abuse and at-risk behavior). Someone with PTSD can have a much better chance to be free of these symptoms in less time in treatment, and a reduced chance of having the symptoms return. This means that CPC can help an addict recover quickly and completely, and be less likely to fall back into addiction. CPC is also for those only looking to improve their body. A person who comes to XLR8 Therapy to shed the pounds is likely to lose nearly twice as much weight over the best fitness methods, lose the weight faster, and more likely to keep the weight off.

Our health and well-being is determined by a variety of factors. It is impossible to separate our minds from our bodies (and vice versa) in a healthy way. My goal is to help clients reach their full potential utilizing skills from both disciplines. As a trainer, it is imperative to use multiple modalities to prevent our bodies from acclimating to training. I incorporate elements of strength training, plyometrics, balance, core and speed training to help clients reach their goals.
Our staff of highly trained and experienced professionals will take an active role in your counseling sessions. We listen, ask questions, interpret, suggest assignments, offer feedback, and make recommendations. However, we are discussing your life, and you are the one who ultimately makes the choices. Our role is to support the decisions you make. Patients generally find our office comfortable and the staff warm and friendly. You will often hear laughter in our office. A good sense of humor is essential to mental and emotional health and sometimes, appropriately used, can be quite healing. Besides that, we honestly enjoy our work and our patients. Our staff has been trained to work with people from a wide range of cultural, religious, and non-religious backgrounds. It is important to us that you feel understood and respected while in our care.

I listen to the learning curve of my clients and propose tools for growth. I say listen, because you first have to understand the clients perceptual understanding (i.e. first environment, current environment and life experiences), all these things enable me to see a clearer picture of whats really going on. I look at the whole picture.
