Introduction: The Sound Beginnings class that I teach is the perfect start to your child's music education, even if you never learned to read or play music yourself! Most opportunities of this sort are only available in the day time, leaving out children of busy working parents. I offer one evening class a week to help fill this void. The working moms and dads who attend my class with their children are thrilled to be there! The sweet bonding moments experienced by these families are priceless. I love watching young minds soak up language like a sponge. In my daughter's first year of this music program, she started making up her own original songs, which she had never done before. The mind incorporates musical ideas just like any other language. It comes so naturally to the kids. I get excited watching their faces as their minds make sense of their new language.

My daughter and I absolutely LOVE Sound Beginnings with our teacher, Miss Brenda. She is a lot of fun and very happy, and that shows in her teaching style. Whenever my daughter goes to Miss Brenda's class, she just can't get enough. From the music to the dancing, and especially Echo Edie, her attention is completely engaged the entire time. And better yet, MINE IS TOO! We just can't wait for the next class to start.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The Sound Beginnings curriculum is designed for children aged 2 -5 years. Younger siblings are welcome to tag along. Prices are per family. $35/month for one child, or $40/month for two children. Please contact me for options if you would like to bring more than 2 children. There is $15 registration fee per family, per school year, and materials are $30 a semester per family. The materials fee covers an activity book, a cd with all our songs, and a small percussion instrument.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact me to schedule a free sample class! I would love to have you and your child visit, observe, and participate in a class. Afterwards I can talk to you about all the details parents like to know, and answer any questions that you have.
