Mal did a great job prepping and pouring a new patio for us in our backyard. He even did some sprinkler work that we found out needed to be done in the middle of the project. The communication was sometimes a little slow but we are very satisfied overall.

Working with He-Man Construction was a breath of fresh air. With all the building going on in the Utah Valley its hard to get the attention of any trades people. Out of pure desperation, I used Angie's List to seek out a cement contractor. Maliepo (Mal) contacted me that very day. He setup an appointment for the following day to discuss how we would utilize the 13 cubic yards (two cement trucks) for the project. After exchanging ideas and expectations, Mal said he would check the cement delivery schedule and get back to me with a price. On the day of the pour, Mal and his army showed up on time ready to get to work. After all was said and done, I was extremely happy with the outcome and the quality of the work. It was a surreal experience watching these guys work to the sound of Hawaiian music making the work look far less like a chore and more of a family gathering that happens to result in very good cement work. Everyone knew their part and what to do and when to do it. These guys are at the top of my list now.

Mal fixed my concrete driveway which involved taking down a tree, breaking up 2 sections of concrete and re-pouring. Great to work with and committed to getting the job done right. Would hire Mal again.
