FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become a part-time pet walker simply because of my love for animals. I know quite a few people who have very busy schedules and are unable to give their furry pals the exercise they need. I want to help both those people and those pets!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I commonly walk pets for an hour or so, depending on the request of the client. I am also available to hike, run, and play fetch with pets.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am most proud of helping my little buddy, Edgar (the pug pictured), lose about 5 pounds! Edgar's mom came to me, desperate and frustrated because Edgar was a habitual napper. I was able to start Edgar on a short walking regimen that led to him loving walks and shedding some weight. In addition, Edgar slept through the night and stopped other destructive habits such as: ripping up toilet paper, digging through trash, and chewing on items around the house.
