Introduction: The Grout Doctor® specializes in grout, tile, and stone care. While tile is a non-porous material, the grout between the tiles absorbs everyday spills and dirt, almost like a sponge. If not cared for, over time your grout will wear away, discolor, or become damaged. The Grout Doctor© provides an alternative to replacing existing tile and grout with our restoration procedures. Our procedures are designed to renew, restore, and protect your tile, stone, and grout to its original beauty or we can dramatically change the look entirely! Restoration is less expensive, can often be completed in one day, and we believe it is just good “green” karma. We want you to love your tile and stone areas every day, not just the day they were installed! We have more tools and the expertise to use them to restore virtually every tile, stone and grout surface without any associated damage. We can cure grout, caulk, stone and tile problems others have given up on. The visible results. People exclaim, "It looks like I got a whole new (shower, floor)!"

Tile Repair

Grout Doctor responded quickly and was able to repair a couple of broken tile for us in about a week or so. The price was reasonable and the work quality was nice.

Thanks, Morgan, for the great review. We try hard to make all of our customers happy and it's gratifying to know we're succeeding.

Tile Repair

Great work! Randy responded very quickly to my Thumbtack request and helped connect us with one of his guys, who did a great job fixing some loose shower tiles and grout in our recently-purchased home. Excited to be able to use our shower after the grout dries!!

Tile Repair

I needed an old shower floor re-grouted along with some touch up on the walls. Joe was fantastic and patient as we needed to replace shower handles in the middle of his work. He was fast and clean and the shower looks great now.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Since we are in the restoration business, every job is slightly different. Normally I will give people a price range but will need to see the job to give a firm estimate. Variables include: how dirty the grout is (and the the source), the integrity of the existing grout, whether there are any structural issues that create additional work, whether there are any broken or loose tiles and how large the tiles are. If there aren't a lot of unusual variables, I can get pretty close without actually seeing it, but I will never guarantee a price until I have physically seen the project.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Customer can reach me by phone, text or email. I will set up a time to come give a quote. Quote will be firm unless there are underlying structural issues that can't be assessed from a visual inspection. I try to explain in detail the process we use so the customer is fully aware of what we can and can't do.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

have done several stone care workshops as well as 4 years of working on marble, travertine, limestone, granite and Quartz. We are always experimenting with new tools and techniques that will improve our productivity or the longevity of the work done.
