- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To begin with I charge by the hour $49.00 per hour and $10 per hour for drive time. Depending on the scope of the job I may then go to pricing by charging a percentage of the cost for the items I purchase for the customer. There are several different ways to charge, it will depend on the job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I need to visit the customer in their home or the place they need help in Designing. I need to learn about the client and their needs and goals then I will know how to best help them. Design is definately a process, it can be a short process or a long one depending on the scope of the work. But always to begin with it is a visit to learn the needs and scope of the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of experience in Design. I have worked in all areas of design, commercial, residential and I have taken jobs from schematic design to doing the "hit list" at the end of the job. I studies Design in college, I have my NCIDQ, National Counsel for Interior Design Certifiation. My certification # is 25209. I also have a my active certification from the State of Utah Department of Commerce.
