Sia A. says, "I almost talked myself out of taking singing lessons because I wasn’t sure if I could really learn online as a beginner. I’m so glad I decided to give it a chance. Ivory has been incredibly patient, encouraging, and easy to learn from, and she made me feel comfortable from the very first lesson. What I really enjoy is how she breaks down vocal technique into things I can actually understand and practice. We’ve worked on my pitch, breathing, vocal control, and singing different songs, and I’m starting to feel much more confident with my voice. The lessons don’t feel rushed or overly structured either Ivory adjusts them based on what I need to work on. The free first lesson was also a great way to see if the teaching style was right for me before committing. Being able to take online singing lessons around my schedule has made it much easier to stay consistent. I’m really happy I decided to invest in myself and start singing lessons with Ivory. It’s been such an enjoyable experience so far!"See more

Max Plaza Jazz Piano
Max Plaza Jazz Piano
Max has been an excellent tutor. He tailors each session to fit exactly my skill level and I feel I get a lot out of each lesson. The course material is centered around jazz piano, which I've enjoyed. I'd recommend him to anyone interested in well-priced, professional piano lessons.

Max is a great piano teacher, especially if you want to focus on music theory. I've been taking lessons with him for a few months and already have learned a lot about playing music and jazz in general, in addition to specific piano mechanics. He has also been quite responsive and flexible with me when I've needed to reschedule lessons. Overall, would definitely recommend to any piano student.

Max is extraordinary! He is attentive, explains concepts well and always keeps a professional demeanor. Although I had 10 years of piano training already, I am slowly losing my eyesight and asked Max if he would teach me the rudiments of jazz improvisation so that I can play without the aid of written music. My lessons are the highlight of my week and I am slowly beginning to grasp the theory behind playing the piano. I highly recommend Max as a teacher!

Jarvis Piano - Learn Songs, Chords & Play by Ear
Jarvis Piano - Learn Songs, Chords & Play by Ear
Learning piano with Harrison’s method is helping me understand the structure of music better and move beyond my childhood classical piano training. From these early lessons I had learned to
start with scales/exercises and then to learn songs, I would work on the right hand, the left hand and then try to glue them together.

After quitting piano in 8th grade, detours into playing bass in bands and helping my kids with their music lessons, I finally started playing piano again. It was fun, but I quickly hit a dead end — I didn’t have the tools to get where I wanted to go harmonically.

I wanted to understand music better and to feel more comfortable and creative on the keyboard.

Harrison’s approach is giving me a way to understand music theory and apply it on the keyboard without requiring a strong jazz focus. Already I feel it is really working for me. I’m hearing harmony a little better, feeling more comfortable on the piano and am motivated for the challenges ahead.

Harrison’s method feels less like learning individual songs and more like learning to understand music itself.
