FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For every 30-45 minute lesson, I charge $20. I expect to be paid at the end of every month.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am continuing to improve my abilities in piano performance, and work at least a couple of hours a day to do so.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began taking the piano at nine years old - originally from a woman who was very set in her ways, unfortunately in a way that did not work for me as a child. After three months, I could still not read the notes on the piano or on the staff. Soon after that, I began with a new teacher who learned about me quickly and could formulate a lesson plan that worked better for my learning style. Throughout my years of playing piano, I have wanted to become the same kind of teacher and provide students with a way to learn that is unique for them. Off and on again, I also did my fair share of having to put a hold on lessons because my parent's couldn't afford them for a time. I want to provide a way, like my teacher was able to do at times - but even more so if I can, for students to have affordable lessons.
