FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing really is custom - it depends on the day of the week, the time of year, the physical conditions under which we'll be performing (inside, outside, on a stage, on the dance floor), the size of the band, the style(s) of music, the number of specific song requests, the location of the event, and the length of the event. I am always happy to itemize costs in my quotes, but it's nearly impossible to show a "standard" pricing system for what we do. The whole thing that makes us great is how customizable we are!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I talk with the customer about their vision for the event, as well as logistical things like budget, space and time constraints, etc., and put together a custom quote that helps the client get the best bang for their buck. I am always looking for creative ways to help the client get more for less, while still making sure that my band members' time and skills are respected and well-compensated.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters degree in contemporary music performance, and have been a full-time professional musican for the better part of the last decade.
