My desserts and cakes always look great, but even more importantly, they TASTE great! With a lot of bakers, you can't get the WHOLE package - beautiful AND tasty. But with me you do :) And everything is made from scratch (even the fondant). I feel like I get to create works of art :) I'm never bored! And I get to use my creative side on a daily basis, which I really love. I also love the relationships that are created when working with clients and other professionals.

I hired Dusti to make my son's 1st birthday cake, and I could not have been happier with the end result. The winnie the pooh cake pictured above was the one she did and it looked as amazing as it tasted. We had the inside chocolate with vanilla buttercream and it was the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted! I wish I could upload a picture of how cute the cake looked with the rest of the decorations we had. Dusti spent a lot of time on the cake and I know she will do this for any cake she is hired to make. If you are looking for a great tasting cake that looks just as good as it tastes, Dusti with Tres Sucre is who you need to hire :)

Dusti was absolutely fantastic! She was the only cake company I found that wasn't going to charge me $30-$45 JUST for a tasting. She came to us, had about 8 different samples to try, her packaging was beautiful, and it was completely free! That just said to me that she lets her product do the talking and then customers will surely respond. We were hooked, that type of confidence from a vendor gives so much security while planning a wedding. She truly has a passion for what she does and does it so well. We ordered a 4 tier buttercream with two different flavors on alternating tiers for our October wedding. It looked so perfect and tasted so moist and delicious. I am recommending her to everyone I know for a wedding cake.

We were looking last minute for a fun treat to celebrate the end of school. Dusti made us 3 dozen mini cupcakes in a variety of flavors. The cupcakes were a hit! She decorated them perfectly and our kiddos loved them. The cupcakes were deliciously moist and light. The frosting had wonderful flavor. I loved being able to give my kiddos high quality, made from scratch treats. They were wonderful! Dusti was easy to work with and quick with responses. It was a great experience!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently took an awesome class from one of the country's best cake decorators. And I'm always trying new techniques and new looks to keep up.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved cooking/baking. Several years ago my husband got really sick (brain tumor) and it scared me! I realized I needed to do something! So I started getting more serious about my business :) It was the kick I needed to really get things going. He's fine now too :)
What types of customers have you worked with?
It varies! Never two jobs alike! Lately, a lot of cakes!
