Molding or baseboards,
I highly recommend Scott if you're in the market for a handyman. He's professional and has a winning personality. It was a pleasure to do business with him.Aug 18, 2017
Quick Fixes Handyman Services did a great job with my bathroom tub tile repair and caulking project. Scott is a pro and I'll be using him for my next handyman project!Oct 28, 2017Verified
Scott removed a number of curtain rods from the walls all around our home- he patched the holes then returned a few days later to sand and paint. The whole interaction was great - he responded promptly to my messages, gave a clear estimate, arrived on time, and worked quickly and neatly. After the first day, I asked him to hang a few large framed pieces on the wall and the price for the additional work was very reasonable. He even entertained my curious 3 year old’s constant (no really, constant) stream of conversation with tons of patience. The walls look perfect- no sign of the repairs! And the art is hung exactly as I requested. I would certainly work with him again.May 4, 2018Verified
Scott was terrific and very easy to work with. Fixed everything we asked for at a great price, and the quality of work was excellent. We know who we’ll be going to for future home repairs, and we recommend him to others without reservation!Jan 6, 2018Verified
Scott replaced my garbage disposal like pro. He also went out of his way to help fix a few other things around my condo without asking for money. He took his time explaining how things work and how I could easily fix a few other issues myself. I highly recommend his services.Nov 3, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For hourly jobs, my rate is typically $75 for the first hour and then $50 for each additional hour. Other jobs will be a flat fee on a per job basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For most jobs an email describing what the customer needs done will suffice but pictures for repairs are always helpful. Occasionally I will need to visit the job first but that is rare.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? One of my first jobs was working for a mom and pop construction company that exposed me to just about all facets of carpentry. Eventually I ended up building rockets and satellites where I learned just about every type of fabrication including machine work, welding, plumbing and electrical. So you can say that your handyman was a rocket scientist!
