FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a project manager for several years and have worked with builders and contractors managing projects and clients. I have done a variety of projects from large home additions and entire home remodeling to kitchen and bathroom renovations. I love transforming living spaces. I am a licensed class A residential building contractor and have taken courses to become such.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started renovating my first home in 2004 when I was 24 years old and I realized I didn’t know anything about materials or how things should be done the right way. I took great pleasure in learning over the years by working with contractors and local builders. I worked as a project manager for several years until I gained experienced, and subsequently opened my own company and obtained my own license. I love transforming living spaces which made me start buying distressed properties and renovating them. I have done interior renovations, numerous large additions, and many kitchen and bathroom renovations. I enjoy helping clients with design ideas and with material selections. It gives me great pleasure sharing my knowledge and experience with the community.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I did a pre-listing kitchen renovation in Fairfax recently and the townhome sold for $42k over asking price. My clients were very pleased with the kitchen renovation, and with the sale of their home. Afterwards, the new owners ended up hiring me to do their master bathroom. So turned out to be a great deal for everyone:)
