I was moving into my apartment on the third floor on a gross, muggy day in June. Boris brought one other gentleman to help complete the job. They did so very efficiently, they were super gentle on my items, and they even assembled the furniture afterward for me. A few days prior Boris called me to make sure everything was still going as scheduled, and then I received updates from him the entire day leading up to my move so that I would know exactly when to expect him. I would recommend their services over and over again. Truly a fantastic company!

I had a new sofa delivered but the furniture store delivery staff was not able to get a section of the couch up to the 2nd floor (narrow row house). I asked Marco Polo to hoist the couch through a window. When Boris arrived, he looked at the couch and at the staircase and said - we can get that up the stairs. And sure enough they did! I was impressed! Not only was he efficient and effective, Boris was courteous and a delight to work with. I highly recommend Marco Polo.

Needed a large sofa, two large armchairs, a wooden kennel/table packed into a rental truck to take down to my daughter in Virginia Beach. The furniture was heavy and unwieldy so didn't think my husband and I could easily do it, so went on Thumbtack to get some quotes for a small job such as this. Boris offered up a reasonable quote, we negotiated a time frame we could both manage, and he and Mike showed up on time. Both were very pleasant and took care of my little moving job in less than an hour. I very much appreciate the way Boris stayed in touch with me prior to the move so I didn't have to worry whether they would show up or not, especially as I was on a short timeline. He is professional, reasonable, timely, and I would certainly hire him again for any moving project I have. Highly recommend Marco Polo Pro Moving!

Boris and Andre were truly excellent! Very professional and even went the extra mile to help set up bed frames. Moving from New England to the DC area was challenging, but Boris and Andre made moving into my new apartment the easiest part of the process! If I move again, I'll be sure to contact them. They were phenomenal.

I was very pleased with the two movers. They did the job in no time disassembled and assembled my bed with the quickness. They managed to squeeze each furniture in a very tight entrance without any scratches. I highly recommend them. Anyone who is moving please give them a call I guarantee you will be pleased.

Been in the moving industry for 8+ years. Have moved and networked with a lot of people who have called me back throughout the years. I started to move them on the side while working for a company. Moved all my friends and family and that's when i realized that I had a passion and talent for moving.

All kinds, from small businesses to large ones. Just did a gig for United way in Old Town Alexandria. Which was a great experience. Have moved lots of professional offices all through the D.C area. Supreme court justice, home designers and stagers. Local realtors,.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do loads of research on the company, ask questions. Don't haggle too much, have to respect a service providers prices. Book inadvance.
